I believe it was on August 18th of 2005 I'm not sure but I remember that around that date everyone was talking about it.

I believe she was in San Francisco for auditions from Aug 18-20, 2005.  I remember reading somewhere that she didn't see Simon, Paula and Randy until the third day of auditions.  The San Francisco auditions aired on January 25, 2006.  So...her CD will be released a little more than one year after she was introduced to America singing "God Bless The Child".

Which I think would make for a great commercial promoting her album.  Although Jan 25, 2007 is a Thursday so I don't think there's an episode of AI.  But say on the 30th during Idol that night.

"A little more than one year ago you were introduced to her.....(clip of "God Bless The Child"...Simon, "Parts of that were fantastic."  Randy, "Best voice we've heard so far this year.")

Then it moves on to a few seconds of SOTR.  "Can't IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII".  Simon, "The best performance of the competition!"

Then BAM!  A quick clip of her music video for I presume I Lost You...
