When there's only two of them I don't think it will have much bearing. When there's ten or twelve than people might kinda forget about the ones in the beggining.

I personally feel singing first is best!! If you think back to previous years, the second person to sing the new single always get more critizim because the judges base there singing on the first singers version!!

my only concern is that all 3 judges will be harsh on her.
I think they will "try" to make stupid comments no matter how well she does (i think they REALLY want a male to win this yrs comp)

They arent the ones voting, and if we all know they will have bad comments and try to be 'stupid', whats the problem? We will all still vote for her - just look what happened with 'I have nothing' - stupid comments only got her in the top2 for that week!! Let them say what they want, its only to our advantage!!

I don't know, in the 4 years, that "American Idol" has been on the air, Ruben Studdard, who sang first in the season 2 finale, won.

Every other year, Kelly, Fantasia and Carrie sang 2nd and won.

I don't think it really matters, except going last gives Simon the chance to say "I think that was good enough to win" like he did with Carrie last year. Of course he can still tell Taylor "That w
