Does anyone know how Kellie's grandfather is doing after his heart attack earlier this summer?

And any word on the reunion of Kellie and her father, who was released from prison right at the end of the AI season?

Not meaning to be too personal, I'm just curious about news that was out in the universe previously.

Sorry I'm late here, but I don't really know. I don't live very far from Albemarle, and some of my friends are Kellie's cousins (I mean like first cousins), so I'll ask tomorrow when I go back to school!

I believe it was yesterday that Kellie's grandfather walked through the town of Albemarle in red high heels to help promote Kellie's new album. If he can do that, he's not hurting too much. Somewhere there's a video of that walk and of Kellie receiving a key to the city.

Well, she did recieve a key to the city, but it doesn't really mean anything. And you can't be sure that was her grandpa in that video or not. My friend said he isn't doing well right now. And I believe if he was walking through Albemarle in red high heels, then somebody would have said something by now.

Kellie Pickler, the “Idol” contestant with a sugary giggle and an endearing disdain for escargot, attracted a swarm of admirers during a Fayetteville visit Friday. Her grandfather, Ken Morton, and WKML disc jockey Larry K. Smith strapped on matching heels to parade with Pickler through downtown.

The appearance was a publicity stop for the 19-year-old’s new album, which includes the track “Red High Heels,” and a fundraiser for Smith’s charity, called Larry’s Kids. But for the packs of giddy fans — among them a few city officials — it was a pinch-yourself moment.

“I don’t know if this is good for album sales or bad!” Pickler said, as Smith and her grandfather struggled to stay upright in size-11 heels. “Next time, it’s going to be sexy lingerie!”

Okay, I don't know how much of this is true, because as of right now, her grandpa's in the hospital. And his name is Clyde Pickler.

Oh, I get it now. I just asked her cousin, and Clyde Pickler is her dad's dad (the one from Albemarle in the hospital) and Ken Morton is her mom's dad. Sorry guys!

I'm sorry to hear that Clyde is in the hospital. Please convey my well wishes to the family. I will keep him in my prayers (and the family).

It sounds like Ken is quite a hoot! Not surprising in the same family as Kellie!!

I hope her success helps them all out.

A listen to a few songs from Kellie's new album is probably the best medicine for grandpa Clyde. I heard she now has a boyfriend in Albemarle and she recently rented a new apartment in Nashville. Don't know how that will work out. Has anyone heard about Bo Pickler? (her dad)

I can probably find out for you how Clyde is doing. I know Kellie is or should be in Nashville Tennessee. Her family is supposed to be moving as well, but I'll try to find out, who knows maybe I can find out the hospital he's at if he's still there and send him something from the Kat Pack praying for him to get well soon.

Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. so love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't, and believe that everything happens for a reason if you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, Let it. Nobody said that it'd be easy they just promised it would be worth it.

I heard that Kellie never did meet up with her mom and I think the song "I wonder" says that. That song is very personal and very emotional for Kellie.

Yeah, I don't remember anyone saying that Kellie met up with her mom. She has a lot of family troubles and has been through a lot.

Yeah, in an interview that I saw with Kellie, she was talking about "I Wonder" and she started to cry. I felt so bad for her. She deserves to do well in music after all she's been through especially. I'm so happy that Kat and her are friends.
