Okay, this just happened to me a bit earlier. So there I was, browsing through the site, and then I noticed that I was not logged in. So tried logging in but to no avail. Then I saw my name on the active members list, but I can't post or do anything. I tried logging in again, but I can't. What was that all about? I sort of freaked out for a bit, because my day wouldn't be complete without dropping by in here.

Anybody have answers? Thank you.

Shina, I just had the same problem, I wasn't logged in, but my name was on the 'Online Now' list.
I tried logging in with the 'Remember login' feature, it didn't work, then I removed that feature, and I logged in. I logged out and tried again with the 'Remember login' feature, it didn't work..

I noticed that even when I logged out, I was 'Online'..

I think chad's trying to get rid of us international phans j/k

Did anyone else have this problem? Chad, do you know why this happened?

The Online now is users that have been active within past 20 minutes. It is not real time.

Chad, I still can't use the 'Remember login' feature and log in, when I try, it just takes me back to the page I used last.. and I'm not logged in at that point either. I have to toggle that feature off to login..

^It works for me, so it has to be a computer setting of your's.  I would assume it is cookies not being enabled.

It still isn't working for me. I have to re-login whenever I'm away for a few hours.

It was working perfectly for weeks until about two days ago. I have not changed any browser settings for a long time. I am using Firefox 1.5.0.6

I upgraded a couple days ago and some settings changed. I believe I have all the settings correct, because I am not getting logged off. Let me know if your troubles continue.

So I click on the logout, but look I'm still logged-in! I've tried from several different pages. A couple times I got redirected to the Forums home page, but I'm still logged in. We just got high-speed and a new isp, but I was logging out a couple days ago with it.

Did you tick the "Remember Me" box at the log-in page?
