If you think about it, dude isn't that good. I am only surprised cause he is pretty boy that all the girls love. Kevin better still be in bottom 3. If he isn't, it is a travesty.

I agree with you. I really like Lisa. She is my second favorite female, well maybe after Kellie. I actually liked Melissa too. Kevin should be GONE!

I'm a bit surprised by Ace being in the bottom 3, but I'm not surprised by Kevin's showing...don't underestimate the power of "votefortheworst.com". At this stage each contestant has developed a fan base which will vote for them (sometimes feverishly) no matter how they performed. This probably accounts for at least half of the votes. Then there are some voting "blocks" such as "votefortheworst" and regional/state allegiances. The remaining votes are cast for the best performance. These votes were probably split between the better 4-5 performances. So the results told us a few things. Firstly, Ace apparently doesn't have as large a fan base as many thought. Secondly, Lisa also does not have a huge fan base, and thirdly Kevin's combination of 11 year old girls, geeks and the "votefortheworst" block is a large enough group to get maybe get him into the top 10. While he shouldn't have even made the top 12.

And BTW, I think this is a totally fair and accurate way of voting for an American Idol. The whole idea of the show is not to pick just the best vocalist, but to pick someone who can sell a ton of records and sell out every concert. This person by definition has to have a huge and fanatical fan base to make it all work.Right now, this season, that person seems to be Chris. But Kat still has plently of time to win the hearts of America. After all, it's better not to peak early...there's 10 weeks of performances left!
