The oddsmakers have firmed up Katharine and Chris as the top 2 contestants as Lisa, Elliot, Ace, and Paris continue to fade away and Bucky'schances have slipped to less than 1%. Chris maintains the lead with a 34% chance of winning, while Katharine's odds of being our American Idol have increased to 24%.

The numbers are a shorthand form of the ratio which expresses the odds of each contestant winning. Katharine is listed as 4.190, which means they have assigned her the odds of 1:4.190 or 1 out of 4.19, which is roughly 24%. Another way of looking at it is if you bet $1 and Kat wins, you get back $4.19. Now if you put your $1000 on Bucky and he wins (lottsa luck), you get a cool $151,000.
