Hello All!

Cobaby asked me to design a COVER for the binder of all our letters to Kat that are being delivered
tomorrow. This is our last chance to put something in her hands now that the tour is almost over!
Sniff, Sniff! No doubt everybody will go through KAT withdrawal!!!

Ken wrote this beautiful poem for Katpedia!! I loved it so much that I asked him if we could include
it on the cover. Mainly because it is so appropriate and reflects how we ALL feel about Kat. Phee
and I made some revisions so here is the finished product! I pulled some graphics together - used
one of my favorite pics of KAT and made her a watermark under the text. Let me know your thoughts!!

I think Kat will be very touched by the poem and all the wonderful letters from her fans. I read over
several of your letters last night and a few actually brought tears to my eyes. Especially yours, Mutt!
I've said it before but I'll say it again, KMF has the best fans ever!

That's AWESOME!  Kat's gonna love it!

I've never belonged to a fan club before so I have nothing to compare it to, but this has to be one of, if not the best, fan bases there is!  We don't seem to be big in numbers, YET, but we certainly are dedicated.

That's so perfect. Everything from the font to the picture to the words to the capital letter on Hope. Indeed it is awesome. I am crying right now knowing Kat will see it and it does truly reflect our idol and the love of her fans...beautiful.

Ken, Phee & Teilah, thanks so much for doing this. It's really beautiful. The poem, the graphics, the whole works. It's just perfect. I was pretty bummed that I didn't write to Kat. I couldn't find the right words to say & everything I've tried seemed to come out wrong. So what you've done here, I feel, is a representation of how everybody feels........... well, at least for me. Like some of you had said, I can't compare this to any other fanclub cos this is my first one, but this has got to be the best ever. Thanks again everyone.

Hey Paulie I love your avatar. Everytime I see it I laugh and I can hear Kat's cute little voice saying " I didn't pick it." Your pic with her arms out like that adds to the humor of that moment. Oh man that was funny.

Great layout, Teilah! That design from the official board is real class, isn't it? It's simple, yet provides a magical surrounding with Kat in that green dress. Your enhancement of that with the poem and border looks outstanding and one that will give a great closing chapter to this letter-writing campaign. It's too bad this title page couldn't be used on the entire batch...despite the volume of that probably being bigger than Tolstoy's 'War and Peace.'

Kudos once again to Ken for that outstanding poem. It works in great context, also, in that promotion vid for Katpedia.

Well, once again, I must thank Co for making this letter-writing project one of the greatest projects undertaken. It gave me a chance to write more communications to Kat (even though I think she reads us on this board)...despite the letters being more in the vein of satire this time around. I wrote her so many serious letters during 'AI' (both sent directly or sent by printings off the 'AI' board)--that I thought it'd be fun to try some satirical musings while she was touring. How those will work if she reads them a long time from now, I don't know, but I hope it gives some funny memories of spending time on that tour bus with the other idols. Of course, my last paragraphs in each one got away from the satire for a minute to show my serious side.

These letters gave everybody a chance to consolidate their thoughts about her for those who didn't get a chance to write her during 'AI' when Sean Hardy smuggled our letters in.  When she reads us here, it's probably only selective due to not having a whole of time. But, as you notice, most people write shorter on this board. That is, except for me. That's not to say we don't write out our poetic feelings here once in a while. It's just that I'm still used to everybody writing long, poetic musings on the 'AI' board. The regulars here have obviously gotten away from that, which made this letter-writing project all the more outstanding to see and read.

NOTE:  I just posted this below on the "Final Chance to Write Kat" thread, but wanted to post this here as well.

"Operation Write to Kat on the Road" - Successfully completed 

I received a phone call from Kat Pack 1198 (Melissa) after she attended the Meet & Greet this afternoon in Connecticut, and she said she gave the letters to Kat in the binder with the beautiful cover Teliah created.  Kat was very thankful and appreciative and hugged it - LOL . . . that sweet little Kat.  Also, she reached over the table and hugged Melissa too.  Melissa was so thrilled to have met Kat and was of course, under the Kat spell after meeting her (excited, happy and the OMG-I-just-met-Kat feeling) when I spoke to her.  Melissa said to tell Mutt, "Sorry she wasn't wearing glasses, but had hair in a ponytail and was wearing red-hooded sweatshirt."  Stay tuned for Melissa's recap of M&G and concert.

Thanks again to all the letter writers who made this project successful and special thanks to Melissa for delivering the letters twice, and finally meeting Kat today - yeah!!!!

Many thanks to all who cut & pasted and designed and wrote and assembled and printed and delivered all our letters!!! Without an actual fan mail box, this was a great way to reach Kat. My deepest thanks to everyone involved for all their hard work!!!
