The Hollywood Tattletale "If you subscribe to us...you need a life" Hurricane Katharine To Strike U.S.? Miami - Clueless Press International Tropical storm Katharine is threatening to turn into a full-blown hurricane, say meteorogists at the National Hurricane Center in Miami. Having blown through major cities throughout the country, the storm appears to be heading back from the Pacific coast towards the Atlantic. "As the storm picks up speed across the country during the fall months, we fully anticipate that Katharine will be a force 5 hurricane sometime around the middle of November. This storm is historically unique," said Charles "Rip" Tydemann of the NHC. "We have never seen a storm such as this which was initially classified by many as being second-rate actually turn into what could become, pardon the overused term, the storm of the century. Most hurricanes run their course rather quickly, but the potential for this one to last years, if not decades, is particularly troubling." Interestingly, the storm has so far caused no property damage, but the psychological scars left in its wake are causing concern among officials. "We are seeing people who, while surviving the actual storm, are obviously in emotional distress," said Dr. Werner Prznskljbr of the Stress Institute at Johns Hopkins Medical Center. "Even weeks after the storm has passed through a particular locale, the residents are still unable to cope with daily life. They spend inordinate amounts of time searching America Online and YouTube for information about Katharine. Videos of the storm are being downloaded at unprecedented rates, and victims are missing work, doctor's appointments, family dinner hour and even their favorite television shows to sit at the computer and relive the experience. "Given that this is only a tropical storm at this point, the effects could be truly devastating once hurricane status is reached." Board up the windows, stock up on the essentials, and brace yourself. The weatherman is usually wrong, but we have a feeling that this time they actually know what they are talking about.

Hey Don!!! Each time I read an article from The Hollywood Tattletale, I am overwhelmed by your writing talent and creativity! WOW!!! We are so blessed to have such talented people here on KMF. Just shows the kind of quality fans Kat attracts! I understand that Chad had to create a folder for satire because so many people thought your stories were real. Again, just further proof of your genius! Seriously, you have a very special gift and should be writing for a major newspaper somewhere. Perhaps you are!!!! It seems terribly selfish to keep YOU all to ourselves!! I predict that some lucky talent scout will discover you right here on KMF! Needless to say, we can't wait for the next edition!!! Bravo, Don. Katharine certainly has dominated my life especially while I was at my home in Florida the past few months. Hurricane Katharine has certainly inspired you to write oh so many writings that have delighted us all. I'm hoping that this hurricane won't go away for a long time! Thanks again.

Wow, you don't think that maybe when Hurricane Katharine swept through Cali, she may have accidently blew out her own glowsticks in Los Angeles, it seems possible. Sorry, Kat, but it's not your fault, you didn't know..................................

According to my September 8 edition of The Daily Dung, TDD was actually affected deeply by the Katharine hurricane. TDD's base is in Florida---and they got the brunt of the storm. Though some interesting observations were made on the Doppler Radar pics that TDD managed to acquire after the storm passed and power came back on. According to all the star reporters, the eye almost went right through the city where TDD's bases were located and nearly tore the roof off of the building. But all the inclement weather also sparked tornados. A secret think tank in the area called The National Tornado Naming Society managed to name one giant tornado that seemed to be on the same path as the Katharine hurricane. Just as the hurricane passed by TDD's headquarters, the tornado passed on through and seemed to manage to push the Katharine hurricane out of the way to prevent it from blowing the roof off of the building. Reportedly, this tornado was named Dolph on the spot. It was also responsible for passing through a Cingular cell phone company around Orlando and swept up all their cell phones out into the Atlantic Ocean. Another tornado that passed to the north of the Dolph one was named Fred--and seemed to sweep up old letters in the local post office people had written to significant others twenty years ago...but were never delivered. Nobody should say that good can't come from weather disasters. There was also something about watching the eye of the Katharine hurricane very carefully on Doppler Radar and noting how it sparkled with some kind of eerie charm while being an unmistakable colour of hazel. There seems to have been little factions created at the TDD, though, when arguments ensued over whether the eye looked brown, hazel or just green. But, the real revelation to me in this issue was that TDD's star reporter, Omni Scient ,was going to cover the 'AI' show in Portland, OR last Friday night. This was probably due to my free promotion of their publication here on this board. Unfortunately, the Katharine hurricane had managed to get all the way to Oregon last Friday night...which is unparalleled in weather history. Oregon's had what we call funnel clouds and basically strong wind storms, but never a hurricane. Despite this, Omni Scient was apparently still staying in a hotel in downtown Portland, which was reportedly the same as the one the Idols were staying in. He supposedly managed to follow them to the venue and hide backstage. While there, all the other idols were said to be heard being concerned about the eye of the Katharine hurricane approaching the immediate area while they performed. Katharine, herself, didn't seem to have any comment--because it's already an embarrassing situation being named after a hurricane. Later, Omni Scient managed to get out to watch the show. He actually managed to knock out the keyboard player this time and put him in the trunk of his car so Omni could transform into the keyboardist during the show. Being the master of disguise, it was the first time Mr. Scient actually had Katharine look him in the eye right before singing 'Think', and he's been in a daze all week until finally writing a report late this week. He does report, though, that the hurricane hit the area right when Katharine was performing. I can confirm that myself while being there. But the eye didn't hit the immediate vicinity. It was windy enough, though, where you could hear the howls of wind outside during the vein-busting screams for Taylor--that sometimes blended into one another. However, Mr. Scient reported something unusual happening outside after the concert that's haunted everybody who attended. Reportedly, gusts of wind managed to sweep up everybody's cell cameras and digital camcorders that contained media of the Portland show as people were leaving the Rose Garden Arena. So far, the search is on to locate all these media devices that were blown away. Though TDD reports that phone calls have been coming in to the White House from people in North and South Korea wondering who that beautiful girl is on all those media devices that washed in off their coast.

Hahaha-- so that was what it was.... {Thanks Don for this - makes my day!!!!) 09/07/2006 6:38 PM Bandar Seri Begawan A force swept through Bandar Seri Begawan, capital of Brunei and blew attap roofs off the houses on the Water Village. The central clock tower took some damage and stopped the clock at 6:38 PM, local Brunei time. Authorities are confident that they will get the clock working back-on-time by midnite today. This tropical gale is unusal for this time of the year and local climatologists are at a loss for this unusual weather anomaly. International weatherman and seismicologists are expected to gather here for an ad-hoc convention to describe the potential for future re-aperanace of such freak storms over the capital..... There has been some scientic data indication that unusual US weather such as Hurricane Katharine may be responsible for changing world weather forces. Local authorities are advised to brace themselves against such Katharine back-lashes for years to come........
