Katharine-
I was never a big American Idol fan before this year. I didn't even plan to watch it this year. My mom loves the show and so I was like oh please this is dorky. Then I watched the Hollywood week show and saw you and I was instantly captivated. I couldn't stop watching. I was busy over the next couple weeks so I missed the top twelve performances, but then I watched you sing Come Rain or Come Shine and I was like this girl is amazing I have to keep watching. I talked to my friend about you the next day and he was like uh oh it sounds like you have the McPheever and I was like what the heck is that? I know what it is now for sure. I saw the tape where you asked if it exists. It definitely does. I haven't missed one of your performances since I was told I caught the "McPheever." I absolutely love your singing, your humility and class on stage, your confidence in your performance, and of course I think your beautiful as well. I get given a hard time about watching AI because I'm in college and most guys my age (21) think it's silly, but I just say watch and see Katharine sing and you'll know why I love that show. I talk on the American Idol forums sometimes and one of your friends mom's posts on there and she said that you're "spiritual." I guess you could say the same thing about me, my father is a pastor. So I guess the best thing I could say to you is that I'm praying for you, that you'll do well and that you'll succeed, because I know that you deserve to win. Keep up the good work Katharine.
