Katharine,

I think that you are an incredibly talented singer.  I bought tickets to see you in Pittsburgh and after I heard you were sick and missed the first few weeks of the tour, I was ecstatic to hear on the radio that morning that your debut would be in Pittsburgh.  Needless to say, when you did not show up that night, I was devastated.

I know it is unlikely that you will even read this, but I thought that perhaps there was a way you could make it up to Pittsburgh.  I work for a non-profit organization called The Children's Institute (www.amazingkids.org), which is a rehab facility for children with a myriad of medical problems.  Specifically, I work with young children who have FEEDING DISORDERS, secondary to medical and/or psychosocial issues.

I read somewhere that you would like to get involved in charity and thought that since you have struggled with an eating disorder yourself and since you missed the Pittsburgh tour, perhaps you would consider reaching out to my organization.  Being non-profit, we are always seeking donations.  Of course, it would also be awesome if you came to sing at The Children's Institute, but I am grounded enough to know that such a trip is not realistic.

Hope your voice and your foot are both feeling better.

Sincerely,
Pittsburgh Fan
