Three fans Views of Kat from Mjs Mary is an unabashed Soul Patroller ... wore the black dress and sounded great on BHCT - She was never my favorite, but I don't dislike her either - must say she seemed warmer that I'd anticipated and truly touched by the reception GR gave - Over The Rainbow was fine, didn't blow me away - maybe she was holding back - said she was still on doctor's orders for only two songs and then said that if we had noticed she was limping it was because of her broken foot and showed the cast Annie is an Elliott fan Kat enters the stage wearing a black ballgown type of dress. The dress was too long to be walking around in that she almost tripped over it while singing. Oops, I guess I did a Paula Abdul by focusing on her outfit first. Anyway, Black Horse and the Cherry Tree� was fine but �Over the Rainbow� sounded like her voice was strained. Chuck voted for Mandisa, and then Paris, Elliott and Katharine. Next up was the set that people are still getting familiar with, Kathsrine McPhee! She started off with Black Horse and the Cherry Tree. She was half-good: She was kind of weak and off-key with the “Woo-hoo” parts, but everything else was great. She mentioned that she was off the tour for three weeks due to being sick and being put on complete vocal rest, and that she’s still on limited vocal rest, so when she comes out she can actually sing and talk, so she likes this part of the night a lot. She then went on to sing Somewhere Over the Rainbow like nobody’s business. Honestly, Judy Garland and Jane Monheit have NOTHING on McPhee’s version(s) of this song. NOTHING. I was at the show and pretty close to the stage on the floor and I don't remember Kat almost tripping over her dress? That could've been because I was too busy taking pictures of her but I doubt my friend and/or I would miss it judging from how into her performance we were. Oh well!

Can you share any more details with us McDaughtry. I haven't heard from any kat fans and people at mj's are always so biased against her that I don't give them much credit. Is there anything else that you noticed?
