Guys, I just wnated to know if any of you ever e-mailed her? I did so many times and she e-mailed me 13 times lol. I can tell she's sooo busy now, so she may never have time to check her email, but anyway, I just wanted to see. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section.

I have never because I've never been sure as to how I should go about doing so, but that is fantastic that she is so willing to try and support Kat's fans.  Momma McPhee is a great person and role-model, and it's wonderful to see her so dedicated to Kat and having her dream come true.

I have, about 7 or 8 times, got short but very gracious replies to 5 or 6 of them. I perfectly understand how busy she must have been, so to get anything back at all was a surprise. Most of mine were written after AI too, so it's not like all she cared about were the votes.

I really don't recommend trying to email Katharine through Peisha though, K will soon have an official site, and there are the various projects going on at KMF too.

We will all have to realize that as Katharine's career takes off into the stratosphere, there is just not going to be enough time in the Universe for K and P to answer personally all the millions of emails they will get. (At least in the past, fans had to actually send a letter and pay for a stamp!)

Probably the best solution is to send a group email through KMF, there is a much better chance that K will read that than one sent through P's account.

I've only corresponded with Momma McPhee once, because, frankly, I feel that she must be bombarded by fan emails on her business site. I know she's a sweet woman who takes the time to respond to each and every email. And I'm sure at first she was tinkled pink to be helping Kat by conversing with her fans. But I can't help but think the thrill is not what it used to be. Just a thought.

She is AMAZING!!!We have been emailing sense AI Time!!she just sent me an email tonight, it was about how today is Kats one year that she tried out, and she said she sent it to Kat. When she responds it's also after 12 am Eastern Time Just to let you know, so that must me when she checks it in Cali!!!She doesn't have to respond to us but she does, just like KAT does!!!! Momma Mcphee ROCKS!!!!!

I've communicated with Peisha quite a lot since April when I first signed up at the 'AI' board. I think my first email to her was in late April--and all my intro emails are longer than long. But Peisha generously replied and said she enjoyed reading what I wrote her. This was right in the middle of the 'AI' chaos--though it got even more chaotic in those final three or four weeks in May. I managed to stay in contact with her throughout that period giving well-wishes or passing on things of interest.

At the end of 'AI', I wrote sort of a finale note that I thought might be the last for a while. After time passed, I wanted to write her again--but that's when she put up that note on her website requesting that people not email her about things related to Kat because it was for business correspondence only. That was a bit relative for some who'd kept in concact with her for a while, because some kept writing her anyway. Though I refrained for a number of weeks until something appropriate would come up. That appropriate thing turned up in June when the 'AI' board was putting together a thread with well-wishes for Kat after she announced her struggles with bulimia. This was, of course, before the laryngitis hit. Everybody on the board agreed that I'd send on the thread with my own well-wish email. And that gave me an opportunity to talk to Peisha again. She also forwarded the notes to Kat's email box.

That's the best way to approach emailing Peisha now. Only do it if there's something worthwhile to write about. Don't just write to shoot the breeze, because she is a busy person who undoubtedly doesn't mind the occasional email that's meaningful. I think most of the time she's just automatically forwarding emails about Kat to Kat's email box. As far as I know, Kat's only replied to very few people. KatFan49 (Don) was one of them.

I know a lot of the people here working on the media project are contacting her a lot recently--along with some people she hasn't talked to before. Hopefully things have worked out with the media concerns--though I won't analyze that here.

Peisha's meant a lot to us through the 'AI' run and beyond. She kept some sense of connection with the fans after 'AI' put that letter ban into effect while Kat was under their sequester. Since P's email box is her own, they couldn't shut that down.

Yes, I still have Peisha's replies--and we should resurrect that 'Experiences' thread we had at the 'AI' board to have a logical place to put them. I posted her replies to me there once.

I emailed her once, and how surprised was I when I got a reply just a few minutes later... This was like a month ago, and she was really, really sweet... =) I just told her how I was from Brazil and stuff, and how I loved Kat... It was quite big what I wrote, and it meant a lot that she took the time to actually read it...

I've been sick for a little while and when I had a scan recently I found out that I need a few more treatments.  Last year I made a group from the aol  message board for Idol and made a lot of nice friends.  I told a couple of them, and on 7/30 I signed on and opened my mailbox and I see an email from Peisha's email address with HI TINA in the subject. I kept looking at it and thought, what???  Me????  I opened the email and this is what was she wrote....

Hi Tina,
WE wanted to  send you lots of love and  support  for
your treatments   this week . katharine and I will be
praying for you and KNOWING  you are in God's hands
and  your wonderful doctors.  We pray for your
healing  and  long and beautiful life filled with lots
of music and JOY , and Love.

one of my friends, JandeCBS, I don't know if she posts on here so you wouldn't know her..but she's on the aol board, she sent Peisha an email in behalf of those friends, to wish me well.  I cried for the whole day and night and every time I think of it I cry. It was so very, very sweet and very, very sweet of my friends to do this. So I thought it would be nice to share with all of you. I'm doing ok and I will be, I'm really sure of that...I have to go and see all the things Kat will be doing so I HAVE TO BE OK
I have my priorities

I love the poetry you submitted for the poetry book for Kat!! I especially LOVED "The Night Before Idol." It made me laugh so hard!!!! Thank you for sharing what you have gone through. thanks Trina. I wasn't going to ever put it up here but I thought everyone would love to to see how sweet Peisha is and how she took the time to do that and to include Katharine into it like that.  She's a classy lady. Thanks for your prayers too.

i know! isnt Momma Peisha amazing? she raised two  poised, beautiful, amazing, mature, and talented girls. i could go on and on about Kat and Adriana.  the McPhee's are just incredible!

Peisha McPhee is indeed an incredible woman.

She has guided two beautiful ladies into womanhood and she has supported them each and every step of the way.
She has taken criticism for being happy for her daughter, and has responded the way any mother should; by not bothering to answer the critics.
She has taught Katharine what to expect from the world when she is in the limelight, and Katharine has learned her lessons well.
She is most gracious to all of Katharine's fans, and responds when she can, in spite of her own busy schedule.
She has been successful in her own career and continues to pursue her own dreams with pride and determination.

Peisha's such an amazing person, I've never tried to email her though, frankly, she use that email address mainly for business connection, I feel that she must be bombarded by all the fan emails. It's really sweet of her to take a lot of time to respond to each and every email.
