Led by the awesome Phee, KatsConcerts.com has been put together as part of the Media project for Katharine's family.

Below is a summary (please note you don't have to register to see it).

KatsConcerts.com

Objective: Provide Katharine's Family, Friends and Fans with an opportunity to follow Kat on the Tour in a screened, safe and simple environment.

Description: KatsConcerts.com is a website aggregating the best concert recaps, photos and video for each city Katharine stops in. The website requires a username and password (a generic one is provides to Kat's family to pass along to whomever they like but a personal one will yield email alerts when new media is added). All recaps are screened for content.

Users need not download any files to their personal computer. Any video or audio watched or listened to is streamed over the internet and will not be on hard drives.

Following Katharine's completion of the Tour, a DVD compiling the five-star media will be put together and provided to Kat fans at cost.

Please visit KatsConcerts.com and let us know your thoughts.  We'd like any wish list you'd like to see for the site as well as constructive criticism.

This site will not be an all encompassing fan site like KMF is.  It's a niche thing, so keep that in mind.

It would be nice if you can find something that shows her funny side like when she used an imaginary rope to get up the ramp. She has a very good comedic timing as well as an excellent stage presence.

Thanks. We are trying to do what we call "five star media" and there will be a seperate section for that. Perhaps we can just have a clip of the moment you talked about.

If you know where that video exists or any others with goofy moments, let us know.

Nice work guys! Kudos to all involved!

The site looks real sharp Pheen. No criticisms or suggestions yet- just one thing I noticed: the maximize buttons on the video players don't seem to work for me.

The site is easy to navigate. It has everything that a fan could hope for. I am in awe of the time and energy that people put into Katharine and her journey. It amazes me.

Thanks, Phee is going to try to find a solution.

I have 2 questions

1. How is the video playback for people? is it staginant?

2. Do you feel the grey background makes the black recap text not as easy to read?

I'm watching the SOTR performance from Sunrise, FL and it stops and says "loading..." and it seems to be stuck.

Also at the top of the page it says "Click the logo to return to the home page" but I don't see a logo to click.

It's working now.  Don't know what I did.

It looks great, very easy to navigate. I have two suggestions; maybe add some color(the grey background looks a little bland), and if you can, maybe add a splash intro that leads into the site. Over all tho, it's tastefully done and i'm sure Kat's family would be proud of the site. Kudos to all involved.

Excellent suggestions.

There actually will be a splash page requesting a login password that then takes you to the home page.

I agree, I think there could be some more color in the background but we've got to make sure the text can be easily read.
