I think people are confused between beautiful and cute. I can only use cute to describe Kellie, no other words. Maybe she's the queen of the high school teenagers. But she totally lacks elegance, that is so abundantly demonstrated by Katharine. Katherine is not just pretty, she has some inner beauty (maybe that's what I called elegance) or maybe the smile... I don't know, that is so attracted to people, be it men or women. Even Carrie, while much better than Kellie, still lacks that ultimate sense of elegance. That's why I like Katharine more than Carrie.

I think so too. Carrie is beautiful. I'm partial to brunettes myself though. Which is why I think Katharine is just out of this world gorgeous.

Carrie was definetly beautiful! I don't think people compare Kellie and Carrie in the way of detailed looks, but kind of an overall look. But mostly, they are compared because they're from the same kind of town and like the same music! But, yes, Carrie was GORGEOUS!!!!!

I think it's what you see of their personalities that makes them beautiful. Carrie was so sweet and that down home farm girl, combine that with her nearly flawless voice = American Idol. How could you not help but fall in love with Katharine from her very first audition. She seems so sensitive and funny, combine that with her vocals = American Idol!
