Katharine knocked it out of the park tonight.   The song was perfect, she sang great and yes....she looked amazing. Simon said she made everyone else look like "amateurs".

Ahhh. Voting just ended here. Katharine was beyond amazing, Simon was totally right (for once) - she was definitely in a different league than the rest of the contestants. I think the camera man had a little crush on our lovely Kat. =p I mean could the camera have been any closer to her face? Haha. Oh well, the camera loves her, and, of course, so do we. Yeah, it was really hard for me to get in. How about the rest of ya'll?

McPhantastic performance!!!

Loved Simon's comment about making the others look like amatuers, that must be one of THE BEST comments Simon has made since AI started.
And I loved what Rod said about Kat, he sure sounds like he caught the McFever!
It was so cute that he took away the song he's singing tomorrow because he didn't want Kat to outclass him.

Ok, sorry, I have to come back and say one more thing. =p I just read the dialidol scores. (I don't always believe them, but they're interesting to read anyways.) Ok, I am totally not bashing Kellie, first of all, but if she got more votes than Katharine tonight that should be proof enough that sometimes performance is not the most important thing - rather, it's fanbase. Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered is an extremely tough song to sing (yes, I've had to sing it before =p), and Kellie appeared genuinely suprised of the outcome of her performance so I'm not bashing her, but it would be hard for even the #1 Kellie fan to say that she honestly did better than Kat because that was one of Kat's best performances - if not THE best. So, that being said, let's just hope our girl comes out on top tomorrow because we know she deserves it.

I could only get in 33 times during 2 straight hours of hitting redial. I couldn't believe it! I'm down here in Texas, so the lines must have been saturated! I really hope that, for once, America listened to Simon tonight: that Katharine was in a league of her own (which she truly is), made the others look like amateurs and was more like a returning pro! It's almost like the show was hers, and all the others were the opening acts. If America doesn't put her in the Top 2 (actually, 1st place), then they reallllly leave something to be desired. Seriously.

Yep, who couldn't notice all those close-ups...It makes me think the show WANTS her to win, because she almost always sings toward the end of the show (and sang LAST tonight)...which I think is a big advantage to pick up the undecided votes.

I don't know about you, but I'm always exhausted about now after re-dialing two phone lines for two hours straight...but our Kat is worth it, so I will continue to do so!

I usually get 8 votes in every minute, unless I get a rare busy signal...so I'm guessing I got in about 900 tonight.  It's strange, if I call on my home or cell phone, I get nothing but busy signals...but I also have ISDN (supplied by my work), which gives me TWO additional analog lines...and they are both almost always clear...must be a rare exchange with little traffic.  And I have two speakerphones with redial, and have the timing down pat to blast the phone lines with votes for Kat! 

Keep up the good work everyone...let's take her all the way!!!

Yeah, my dialer got through only a handful of times in the first 1.5 hours. Maybe 30 or so votes, and only because the lines cleared in the last 5 minutes and I got in maybe 5 more votes. So far dialidol has Kat #4 behind Taylor, Elliott and Kellie.Kellie is only a little ahead of Kat, but Taylor and Elliott are way ahead. We shouldn't be very surprised by the voting, because it is indicative of #1- the size of the fan bases, and #2- Kellie and Elliott fans are scared because of the performances/judges comments.
