Everyone who has submitted poetry for the project should please e-mail me with the following information: 1. What name, that is, real name (if any), besides your screen name do you want to appear in the book? Even if you listed a first or last name in your post, please do this again. (I'm assuming many people did not necessarily wish to post their real name here, but might want Kat to see it.) ALSO, include your screen name for identification purposes. 2. What address do you want your page(s) to be sent to for the purpose of signing them? All poets are being given the opportunity to sign their work (with a VERY BRIEF note) in the copy which will go to Kat. Include full address, please, with zip codes, apartment numbers, etc. If you live overseas, take particular care so that we will understand the proper format for your country. Send this information to: worksite@msn.com And please type carefully since what you write is what will be done. Congratulations to all who are participating. Gary

I understand, though, when you have two four-letter names with 'G' at the beginning. Hey, Gary, thanks for getting this set up. I have to say, though, that this could be a complicated process. I'm willing to sign my copy (I'll send my mailing info tonight or tomorrow morning)--but I've seen other projects done like this in the past--and it sometimes gets hung up in the mailing process. People get busy and if mailing those around depend on someone else forwarding them to the next address, then it could take a lot of time. Maybe I misunderstand the whole thing and what you're saying here is that you'll be mailing each individual poem to each address to be sent back to you? Even that might take a long time because of people not having time to package up their poem and send it back right away. Hopefully everybody involved will give a pledge to send it back by a deadline. Too bad we don't have technology available (like an autopen feature) where we could place our signatures on those through the net. Of course, with scanning ability, that could still be done--despite not being actual pen to paper. Well, if Kat has graphology study ability--she might be able to read our personalities within our sigs. I believe in that process, because I've had mine analyzed. Hopefully this can be mailed to Kat once she's home from the tour. So there IS plenty of time before the end of Sept.

It is a version of the simpler system you imagined (including the use of return envelopes). It should be manageable--especially with the dedication demonstrated on this site.
