The lawyers for American Idol sent me an email saying I had to "cease and desist" with the media.  Hopefully this can still be a successful site.

I knew they would. I've seen another Katharine site have to do the same. I figured it was only a matter of time before they sent an email to you too. Good thing I saved some of the files to my computer so I can watch it whenever I want.

EDIT: If only we could get our hands on something Katharine's performed before American Idol. They don't have the rights to that. Maybe somebody could email her mother through her website and ask if there are any home videos of Katharine we could view. Lol. I doubt it'd be that easy but it's worth a shot.

It would be a little creepy to dig way back to high school or something for that stuff, don't you think?

We saw her last fall in a musical in North Hollywood, but I don't think she has done many starring roles, just background and chorus like she did then.  Not a real good chance at finding many videos of "back in the day"

Katharine had a staring role in Annie Get Your Gun that played in Thousand Oaks. I've seen a picture of her on some websites. I am sure her Mom has that. I know I have a program from that show somewhere. It has her picture on the front. If I can dig it up I will let you know. I have a lot of high school pic's of Katharine from Prom and homecoming dances and other stuff but last time I spoke to her before she left for the show, she didn't want me to post any of them.

I think I have a old program of "Into The Woods" folded up and hiding somewhere in my room, which might seem kinda creepy (It's from high school. grins) but I kept it for some other friends I knew as well.

Even if it found it, it might not make a good scan.

So, would the info that she played Little Red Riding Hood in the high school production of Into the Woods be good enough to satisfy? At least for now?

I agree. Since we all love Katharine, we should respect her privacy. If she doesn't want them to go public, that's all right. We don't want to get her upset...right?

I'm really disappointed with fremantle. American Idol is a success only because of the fans. Yet fremantle punishes the fans for being fans. I think your polls on the home page are dead on, sites like this one help promote the show, and the reason they exist is because the official site is lacking!

They have one lousy board, where everyone and their monkey are posting nonsense every few seconds, and they have some lame screen caps, no video from the show, like recaps or tonight's performances, nothing! Let alone the fact that they're miles away from HD quality.

Tonight, Simon told a contestant that American Idol is a bubble and he needs to look out at the real world. I have the same advice for the producers, who live in that bubble as well.
