This is very hard for me to say, so I'm just going to say it. I am so glad that Katharine got through Bulimia, but like Katharine I have some weight issues too. I'm 21 years old, and I weigh 105 pounds. I had a dramatic weight loss. I went from 117 pounds to 105, but it's not bulimia. I'm thinking it's aneroxia. My parents are starting to worry. My bones, veins, and ribs are starting to stick out more, and everytime I eat just a little snack or something I immediately get full after the first couple of bites. Should I write to Katharine, and discuss this with her, or what should I do? Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section.

You need to seek immediate medical attention. Don't delay, please. I'm sure that Katharine would give you the same advice, but you shouldn't wait for a reply from her. Make an appointment tomorrow.

I think you should. You should give it a try. What is it going to hurt? Do you have an address to send to kat because if you do could you give it to me? I really think you should write to Kat because she has experience with weight issues and will probably be able to give you advice. Good Luck

Yes, as Don said, please see a doctor about this immediately. There are 101 different medical problems which result in weight loss, and most of them are easily treatable. So don't be afraid, just get help soon!

Yeah, you guys are right. I also want to discuss it with Katharine too because she has experience with it. Lately I have been looking at Weight loss magazines, drinking diet sodas, skipping meals. I'm just not satisfied with the way I look. Everytime I look in the mirror I see a fat person, but no one else sees what I see when they look at me.

you need professional help. there's no reason why anyone in the world at your weight should feel anything close to fat. When Kat was 160/165 in her audition, she looked pretty perfect. this world with it's crazy messages is messing with your mind. eat healthy, and be healthy, and you will feel and look good.

Katharinefan03, you should see a professional. Kat might be able to help, but she doesn't have any means to help you immediately. It's great that you've acknowledged the fact that you might have a problem . That's the first step to a cure. We're here for you should you need us. After all, we're like Phamily now

I don't know if Katharine will discuss this with you one-on-one, but perhaps she will be giving some advice and guidance in some upcoming magazine articles and on the Dr. Keith Alban show airing sometime in September. Also, believe in yourself and don't let what the media is pushing consume you - they aren't sending the right message. Thanks to those that posted on here with advice, that really is such a wonderful example of the human spirit helping each other. Kat really draws in good and kind-hearted people as fans!
