Kat, I can't even begin to explain how much you have touched my heart. From your sweet and lovable personality to your beautiful and talented voice, you are truly an amazing person. Ever since I saw your audiition back in San Francisco, I knew there was something special about you. I was indeed right. Watching you perform throughout this American Idol season brought sooo much joy and tears of happiness to me. I've watched every season so far of A.I. and no other Idol has ever done that to me. Dear Katharine, I'm soooo sorry you had to miss the beginning of the tour. All your fans have been supporting you and trying to help you in your hard times. I'm also very sorry that you got a hairline fracture in your foot. When i was little I broke my leg jumping off a couch (lol) so I dont remember how the pain is. I know you are trying so hard to please your fans and it shows. I'm so thankful for that!!!! You are an awesome person and my role model!!! You have inspired me to do so much and reach my full potential. Thank You!!! Just remember when you have hard times your fans are always supporting you and praying for you to get better. Kat, You're simply amazing on stage, the way you touch many people's hearts is so magical, it makes me think that you must be an angel in disguise, lol! I believe with all my heart, that you will become a superstar and fulfill all your dreams! We Kat packs will always support you no matter what, just keep being yourself and sing! Hi Kat! Hope you are feeling better as you read all our notes for you. I liked you at the beginning of the season but I wanted Taylor to win. But, as I watched you sing and pour your heart out, I just had to love you even more..even though you didn't win, I am so proud and happy to see that you are out there doing what you love to do and inspiring people along the way. Just ignore all the negativity surrounding you and focus on the music, 'cause that's what it's all about. Dear Kat- Hey! I know I have written you alot, but I thought I would write again and just say hi! I hope the tour is going well for you and that your foot feels better soon! It's crazy how you first were sick and then hurt your foot. You are so amazing Kat, everyone who has gone to the tour says that you were so great! I miss seeing you on TV..you have no idea how much you have touched my life. You always put a smile on my face even when I'm having a really bad day. I can't wait till you go on your own tour, you have to come back to St.Louis so I can see you!I know I have told you that I couldn't make it to the show in St.Louis, but just seeing pics and videos makes me happy..I can just tell that your having so much fun up on stage. Dear Kat- How can I begin to tell you how much you have meant to me over the course of this last year? I will never forget the first time I saw you on American Idol in your audition, and as soon as you opened your mouth to sing, I knew that you would be the one that I would support throughout the competition. Little did I know how truly engaged I would become in your journey. After endless hours on the AI message boards and the Katharinefans.com boards, 1,000+ posts to declare my loyalty to you and the Kat Pack, and many late nights spent on the phone voting for you until I ran my phone bill so high that I thought the amount due on the bill was my telephone number, you are still and always will be my American Idol. I was so excited when I saw you in concert in Duluth, GA on August 3. I was so worried that you would still be gone from the tour, and when I heard you would definitely be there for my concert, I literally cried from happiness. I am so happy that you are better. I don't even know if you saw me there, but I was on the floor holding up a poster for you that said "KAT" in huge blue, green and purple letters. (The people behind me were yelling at me to put it down, but I didn't care... I held it up because I desperately wanted you to see it and know that you were loved.) I tried so hard to get to meet you that night, but the security guards couldn't be fooled. ;) I did finally manage to get one of them to take the poster back to you, and I wrote a note to you on it. (I hope you remember it or that you even got it. Some guy next to me spilled his beer on it and messed some of it up.) I hope that you got it and that you kept it as a reminder of yet another Kat Packer whose heart you have stolen. I will continue to support your journey for as long as I have breath in my body. You such a beautiful person, not just on the outside, but on the inside as well. I will probably write you many more letters while you are on tour, so you will probably get tired of me, but I am simply fascinated by you. You are my idol. Hi Kat, You probably have thousands of notes, letters and postcards from fans laying around because you don't have time to read them all. I think 758 of those are from me. Whenever your McPhans organize some project to get notes to you, I almost always participate just to increase the chance that you might get to read something that I wrote. I like knowing there is some slight chance that I might have made you smile or even chuckle a little. We were all so thrilled to hear that you and the girls got some enjoyment out of the gift baskets. Our representatives Laurie and Laura, both of whom you have met, literally risked life and limb to get those to you. A tent that was set up outside lifted up and came crashing down very close to them, and they both selflessly threw their bodies to shield the gift hampers from harm's way. I may have lied a little in that last part, but they really did almost get hit by a flying death tent. So about your glasses... We really enjoy seeing them on your face. We enjoy them even more when you wear them with your hair up in a messy bun. I'm just sayin', Kat, I'm just sayin'. For me it started when they showed the viewing audience of American Idol that you two hang out and share laughs. We love that you can be silly and have so much fun together. Thank you for being so kind to Kat's fans when she was out of the tour. We were really disappointed, but it helped us that you were there. I hope you are enjoying the gifts from us like the rest of the girls. We tried to include a lot of variety to cover any differences in tastes. The gifts came from across the entire country, and we tried not to include anything that was spelled weird. Though I know you'd get a lot of comedy material from some weird foods from other states. I'm looking forward to seeing you in more comedic things on television. Also... if it isn't too much trouble, could you please talk Kat into wearing her glasses more often? Dear Kat, Hey! How's it going, Kat? I totally can't wait until your CD comes out! I went to one of the concerts and I LOVED it!! You were the best part! I wanted to get your autograph and a pic with you but I had to leave. I would have stayed there the whole night if I could! Remember that I love ya lots and that I think you are seriously awesome! I remember the time you got voted off, I was on a class trip to Chicago (we were very busy and couldn't watch Idol that week) and one of my classmate's aunts called and told us all that you got voted off!
