Per the dialidol results, which have been pretty accurate over the last few weeks, it would almost appear so.  Many performers have moved around in the dialidol scoring since the Top 12 began but one thing has remained consistent and that is that Taylor is ALWAYS number 1.  A few of the weeks he was just slightly ahead of the number 2 person but there have been several weeks where it has not even been close.  Also, the fact that Taylor got to pick his group last night, tends to confirm to me that he was yet again the highest vote getter.  Things can change but I'm almost starting to feel like the other 5 are fighting for their spot against Taylor in the finale at this point.

He's the only one who can beat Kellie right now.  I don't see he's going downhill. I don't mind who will be in the finale as long as Kat is in.

I wholly agree. If we can get Kat to the finals I think she will have an excellent chance to shine in that setting and could beat whoever she is competing against.

Noone's a shoe-in. Taylor peaked early, which is potentially fatal. People are starting to tire of his "shtict" IMO. Check out the dialidol results of the past 3 weeks, yes he's still leading, but his lead is shrinking. Kat has picked the right time to put it in high gear- the end of the race, when it counts!

My gut feeling tells me that he will be in the finale. I don't think it will be a guy-guy finale, so either Kellie or Katharine will be in the finale along with Taylor.

Seriously now I can see a Katharine vs Taylor finale. People need to vote to make it come true! Taylor is not easy to beat, but once Katharine gets into the finale, anything can happen rite? Again, McPhans........ vote!

A little Idol History of the final 2:

Season 1: Kelly Clarkson vs. Justin Guarini
Season 2: Clay Aiken vs. Ruben Studdard (all guys)
Season 3: Fantasia vs. Diana DeGarmo (all women)
Season 4: Bo Bice vs. Carrie Underwood

The women have won 3 of the 4 years, and soon to be on May 24th, 4 out of 5.

I would have to agree with Rhine. As of now, I don't see anyone can touch Taylor. Even if his support is shrinking, he still has enough momentum to sail through in the coming weeks. Kellie is still strong but definitely weakened because of her last performance.

Next week is going to be very critical for both Kellie and Kat. If Kellie screws up one more time and Kat nails again like last week (which is very likely to happen), then Kat's supporter will definitely be multiplied in orders of magnitude. And she will be overtaking Kellie and heading toward the finale. If they both do good next week, then it's not as easy for Kat to beat Kellie. She will regain support and you might see her in the finale. Next week is again Kat's advantage because of the theme. I'm not surprised if Kellie butchers her song again. Let's hope so.

I'm not sure about that.... things can change.... but I do have a feeling he will be in the Finals..... Kat Hicks or Kat Pickler or Kat Daughtry thats the moment when the Ultimate battle starts heavy.... but in terms of vocal talent.... Kat has no question. In terms of other aspect.... well thats where WE need to support and spread and recruit family, friends, enemy with full force.
