i'm watching the view, and they showed that Kat will be a co-host.  i know we have confirmation from momma mcphee, but actually seeing it made me smile from ear to ear!!!! i can't wait.

I hope Kat will hold some mock 'The View' sessions at home to get practice in before she hosts the show on Thursday. I don't know who Kat could bring in that would talk at the same level as Joy Behar, Barbara Walters, et al., but maybe Star Jones could be hired as a temp talker.  And she could give tips on where the gals' weak spots are in how to break in for conversation.

With a practice session like that at home, the "You know, I..." interruptions to get a word in edgewise would actually extend to being a full sentence or more.

Seriously, though, I hope Kat will get a chance to make comment on world issues as they do at the beginning of the show. That and her inside stories about her recovery will be the best part of the show.

Anyway, thanks for confirming the confirmation from 'The View' itself. I assume they clarified that it was Thursday and not tomorrow...

Edit: And, of course, there's that part of the show where Kat will be singing...
