I just wanted to say thank you to all you guys who keep KMF running and keep the site a nice place for Kat phans to gather away from all the BS.  I know sometimes some of us get carried away, but you guys are always there to make sure everything stays kosher.  There is something special about this site.  Whenever I visit here I feel a certain warmth and a sense of pride just to be a small part of this.  I'm sure Katharine is proud to have such great phans.  Hopefully this will be a place that she can visit, if only anonymously, just to be reminded that she has lots of devoted phans that genuinely care about her and wish her great success.

It's sort of like our "home away from home",our "oasis in the desert" away from the less than great hearted comments from other sites,our safe space to express our love and gratitude for the exquisitely amazing, Katharine McPhee.Thank you Rhine,Noni and all the others that keep this such a great place to be!!!I've got the McPheever really bad everyone, and I start crying everytime I think about Kat. Thanks for keeping this site so friendly and well protected from anything negative in regard to Kat. It's great to have a place to express our thoughts, feelings, and ideas about her and be able to get information too.

By far, this is the best place to share information and our obsession with Kat.  Aside from that, though, I've also believed it is our responsibility to make this a place that Kat would want to visit if she ever did let curiosity get the best of her. 

Although she didn't name anyplace specifically, I'd say it's safe to say she's been here.  We do have confirmation that Chad shared the link to the thread reacting to at least one of her letters.

So thank you again, Moderators, for everything you do.  I especially like when you make certain posts go *poof!*

Big shoutout (since I haven't said it enough) to the mods here. The work you've done on the good-looking new design and keeping things in perfect order here is gratifying to see after one experiences the chaotic mess at the other boards. Maybe I have a touch of OCD or something, but seeing things in an orderly way--along with heartfelt, funny and intelligent posts--makes this place become the exemplar Katharine site extant.

After the mention in the media of this site, though, I suspect there may be a huge wave of new people coming in soon that may or may not be friendly. So this is also a shoutout to be on the lookout for that in coming weeks. Not that I'm worried about anyone missing anything. KMF has a great international staff that provides a strong 24/7 lookout for trouble. That can't be said about other boards I've seen where the a.m. hours means bedtime for the mods. An international mod team is always important for a message board. And a lot of trouble posters and spammers come in during the a.m. hours thinking the staff won't be around to clean up until morning.

I think we're all collectively turning this site into something special. And I thank everyone involved more than I can say for getting us on the yellow brick road. Soon, I think this place will be the Emerald City of Katharine boards--even though we can whisper in each other's ears saying that it already is.

Thanks for all the shoutout guys. You know, this is a team work. Without all you fantastic fans, what are the host and the mods doing, talking to one another? Because of all your love, enthusiasm, and dedication toward Katharine, we come together to form this site.

I remember back in March when I first joined, we had less than 100 members and most of them didn't post. I kept talking to Chad and discussing how we can expand our membership and get more people to post. Don't you guys see even Chad is not posting much lately other than relating Kat's messages, his post count is still higher than most of us? That's because he was the only one posting back then.

That being said, don't forget that the most important person to make this site successful is not any of us but Katharine herself. If Katharine was not in American Idol, KMF, Kat Pack, and McPhans would never have existed.

So again, I'm very happy to see KMF growing in parallel with Kat's fan base. Keep it up everyone. As with Kat's career, we still have a long way to go. This is just the beginning. I hope everyone of us is a lifetime fan of Kat and member of KMF.

Your kind words are much appreciated, and it's so nice that some members of the site feel this way about being glad that we try to keep this a positive, clean, friendly and supportive place. I remember, too, when I joined as a member and there were only about 300 people... so to see it grow to a membership now of somewhere close to or around 4000 people in such a short time is really something! Many thanks also to Katharine for giving us a reason to have this great website, also to Chad for keeping it running. Maybe someday we can all be card-carrying members of the KatharineFans.com website!
