i wasn't sure where to place this message, but i wanted the KMF forum here to send prayers and well wishes to Linda, better known to her Kat friends as luv4llnnt. she has taken ill and is as of this post in the hospital. i am in touch with a friend of Lin's on updates on her condition. but please say a little prayer for luv, she is a huge Kat fan who always kept us up on what Kat news was out there.

as soon as i know more, i will try to relate it to you.

thanks for the well wishes and prayers, i am hoping to hear something i hope soon. all i know is that she entered the hospital on Sunday and well not much else i can say here. i do want to say this on a lighter note.

Lin is also a huge fan of LaToya London and Lin and her friend were on their way to see her in the Color Purple (not sure where that is playing) when Lin called her friend to cancel that she was feeling ill. but i will say this nice thing to report that after the show was over, LaToya called Lin to wish her well in getting better. i thought that was very sweet.

so once again, thank you Lin, thanks you i'm sure and hope prayers are answered that she come back to all of her Kat fan friends soon. We Luv you Lin, please GET WELL SOON

I am terribly saddened to hear of the illness to linda, and my prayers go out for a quick recovery and return to the boards. Being that I was hospitalized for 3 weeks in July, I know of the pain and sadness that you go through not being able to keep up with Katharine's career. GET WELL SOON.

I don't know Lin well--but I remember first seeing her SN way back on the 'AI' board a year and a half ago when I joined and got into the thick of the chaos within a few days. She was always a supportive, fun and valuable member there (and I think she stuck it out there in the post-season until moving to calmer KMF waters)--but I'm sorry to hear she's sick. Here's hoping it's only something that can easily heal with prayers and time.

If anybody can relay messages to her--tell her we're all wishing her a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing her back here soon. When it comes to fan groups like this that sometimes can lead to internal controversies and knock-down fights...pulling together and providing support during a prominent member's health crisis is what makes it all worthwhile.

just a quick update and i'm sorry, i can't relate the diagnosis of Lin's health as yet, but Lin is a fighter, as a Kat fan, you learn to be.

she thanks everyone for their prayers and hopes we all continue to keep her in our prayers. she will be in the hospital for a longer period of time than what she had anticipated. 

so thank you for your concern and keep praying.......talk to you soon if i can send another update.

Oh my goodness! If you get to read these Lin, please know that I will keep you in my prayers. I somehow missed this thread earlier!

If there is any site to get behind their fans, it's Katharines.fans.com! The power of prayer can work miracles and I'm sure that's what we all hold in our hearts for you!

Hopefully, there is a way that you are able to listen to Kat's music from your hospital bed. It has been very therapeutic for me in the past and I know that it could be for you as well! Maybe someone will be able to put all of her performances, etc on an MP3 for you...or something!

We miss you and can't wait to have your valuable input back on the site! Get Well the Sooner the Better!!!!

Thanks for the update. 3-4 weeks isn't too long if Linda regains her full health.  I'm wishing for the best.

That's great news to hear...especially right before Thanksgiving. Hopefully she can be home for Thanksgiving--although a complete recovery for the holidays would obviously be meaningful.

I guess I didn't realize the seriousness of her illness--and I still wish Linda all the best. We've all dealt with people in our lives who've gone through serious illness...and I know miracles of healing can take place. To connect Kat to it: I think she's provided those same miracles to sick kids she visits in the children's hospitals. The mind can truly change the ravages of certain diseases. The best part, though, is that it can provide mental well-being even if you're still technically sick.

Hang in there, Lin, and know people are pulling for you...

it's been awhile and i wanted to let Katharine fans here know that i received a message at myspace from Lin and she sent this to post here from her in her own words:

"After spending 8 weeks in the hospital, I was finally released on the 11th. It's good be home.

Again thanks for the prayers from family and many friends, including the the Katarine Mcphee site. I am ss grateful for all rhe prayers, cconcersa nd support.

Just wamt to share my happy news informing everyone my good news.

I'm so elated to be home. !!! Horray!!!!
