Anyone, who has done, thought or said something absolutely stupid or awkward because McPheever even in your own opinion – this is your topic. I guess the stupidest things are thoughts because it is impossible for nobody else understands that McPheever. Ok I start, and I m quite an ace (Frehley, not Young, heh heh) on this:

 

All the examples are on my recent, no-Kat holiday trip to Lake Garda and Riviera with my WoMo. I was  there in over two weeks.

 

First: at the very beginning I had estrangement symptoms. (I do not know if the word is right, but I guess you know…) My hands were shaking ( for a keyboard )and I had to go for a walk on a deck and look at to the horizon to cool down to think about Kat…

 

Second: later, because I do not have Internet connection, I just began to invent stories about Katharine and Her successful career, not forgetting drawbacks. Beat that!

 

Third: In a commercial centre, typical in France, I carefully checked all the magazine covers. Yes, plenty of them and a lot of beautiful women, but not Katharine McPhee. Of course I knew that I would have been impossible to see Katharine , because She has just done Her first cover girl story even in USA. But when you are mad, reality is no obstacle.

1. I hate going on family vacations now without a computer.
2. Just like Yki, I have to go look in the local shops to see if Kat is in any of their magazines.

Ahaha....I just got back from a 4 day vacation to Lake Havasu with no computer!!! Surprisingly, I was able to keep my mind off of the Kat Pack for a majority of the time. But I thought of Kat at least a few times each day. For example, we were traveling in a Motor Home that was brand new and pretty loaded (not as fancy as the AI tour bus)... but all the while, I kept thinking "oh my god, I've been traveling in this motorhome for 5 hours and Kat will be doing this for the next 3 months: she's gonna get bored"... and trust me I was with 7 other entertaining people, and it gets a tad bit boring because some people want to sleep when you want to watch a movie or play a game, or visa versa. So, we should try to send her some fun games or letters. Also, I kept thinking, "I hope the beds are comfortable in their tour bus"... they were slightly uncomfortable in the Motorhome that I was in. Then, I was going through Kat withdrawls, and I was laying in a float on the water imagining this: I see Kat come to the water with Nick and sit in a lounge chair, and I was in shock, so then I said "hey...Oh my gosh.... I want to leave you alone, but can I take a quick picture, and they both said 'yeah' so then we talked and then I left them alone. Then my dog kept running over by Nick and Kat, and I had to keep chasing him, and they kept laughing...I know it is such a lame story, but when you have no contact with the Kat Pack you feel so ackward because you have no idea of all the latest news regarding Kat. Like Yki said, when you have no contact to the Kat Pack, you make up your own stories related to Kat. The temperature in Havasu was 110 degrees and I was also suffering from the McPheever, luckily I was able to manage to have an awesome vacation. So, when I got home today, the first thing I did,was long into this site, and get caught up with all the news.

I just can't stop thinking about Kat lately... I stay on the computer all day long reading the topics here in this forum, looking for pictures of her, trying to find out what's going on with her and etc...
There's a friend of mine who's spending a few months in the US, and I told her that she can buy me any magazine that has anything about Kat and then I'll pay her when she comes home.
Also, everyday when I remember that Kat will be doing shows for the next months and I won't be able to go I feel really sad... and since I found this fan site I can't get out of here! =)

when i was watching lakehouse (the last movie i watched), i couldn't concentrate because all the while i was trying to imagine kat in the role of sandra...how she would've reacted in this scene or that...

i do that also with the songs i hear on the radio. i imagine kat singing the song, so i don't really hear the voice of whoever is really singing.

Today I stopped the car because Roxette song Fading like a Flower was on. Of course I thought all the time how much better singer Katharine McPhee would have been in this song than Maria Fredrikson.

You guys, this McPheever thing is serious... Most of the time I can't pay attention to what people are saying to me because I'm always thinking how sad it is that I won't be able to see Kat in concert, 'cause I'm not going!!! And then I start thinking about how I'm gonna get the money to go to her concert when she has one of her own!!! =)

All I can say is ... THANK GOD FOR KMF SITE!!!! Hahahaha ... I have to come here everyday to check everything about Kat... even when I'm at work... hahahaha ... this McPheever thing is for real! A lot of times I was thinking about Kat during business meetings ... hahahahaha ... hopefully my boss won't notice that .. hahahaha ...

And yes, I've gone back and forth a bookstore in Jakarta (well, I live in Bandung ... that's like a 1.5 hours drive!) to look for Teen People! No luck yet! hahaha ... All of my friends told me that I'm crazy ... hahahahha ... I won't stop until I can get that magz!!! :p

Maybe i am not the one who has the highest mcpheever.. But i think my mcpheever is going from acute and mild to severe and CHrONiC!! Actually i'm lucky i'm on my holiday.. And everyday all i can do just go to this site.. Hehe..All my family think i'm more than crazy.. What is that? Mental-disorder maybe? Haha!
