Hello Kat Fans! 

It's time for a little marketing on a Kat Pack project! The Kat Pack/McPhans will be keeping in touch with Kat while she's on the road touring this summer (for details - see the posts in the Upcoming Concerts and Appearances Folder). 

If you would like to write a message to Kat, please look for the "Write to Kat While She's on the Road" thread in the above-referenced folder.  The letters in this thread will be hand-delivered to Kat at concerts throughout the summer. 

Since when are Kat fans shy people?  Only one letter so far?  Take a moment  and write Kat a message, she'll love to hear from her fans from all over the world!

Cool! Ive written a couple letters to Kat they others have emailed to Peisha, or tried to give them to her at a event. Aug 13th cant come fast enough. Oh kat....

Thanks, Co, for getting this all set up for us.  I can only speak for myself when I say that the reason I haven't posted a letter yet is because the thought that Kat will ACTUALLY READ something I write gets me a little nervous.  Makes me want to be certain that I write something good! 

The good news - if my understanding of the project is correct - is that we can write her letters for each leg of the tour?  So we don't have to write a long letter that is like our dying wish or anything.  It could be short and sweet because there will always be the next city that another Kat Packer will attend, right?

I saw you mention in the 'Tour' forum that you were banned for promoting this over at the 'AI' board? Of course, using the words 'Katharinefans' over there is anathema for the mods...and usually means instant death of your account. That's why the 'other place' method always works. I use that all the time--and people know what I'm referring to...while the mods don't.

Perhaps when they saw my post in your thread, they knew what my 'other place' meant and zapped it. They deleted right after my reply to your post yesterday morning.

Just get your account back over there, Co, because you still belong on the 'AI' board until we all finally come here to stay. And thanks again for your time in getting this set up.

As far as writing a note: Because of my heavy communication I've already done in past months (in addition to sending Kat an email last week through Peisha)--I'll probably wait until a little time has passed before starting to write notes. I'm not sure there's any m&g recipients much in July anyway, is there? In any case, Mutt's right that we should keep things short and just say something in a small space that's comical, profound or a combo of the two. I think a lot of us know how to combine those two elements fairly well in a small space if we have to.

Possibly a joke about potholes on the highway would be a relatable piece of satire to slip in occasionally...

Hey Mutt & Greg!

Mutt, this letter writing to Kat will be going on throughout the tour, so people can write as much as they want. And, please make them funny and entertaining - Kat has a sense of humor! We will be relying on folks to make us aware that they have one of those "coveted" passes, so there isn't going to be someone at every concert. The good thing is we do have someone for the July 6 concert and an "almost" confirmation for Rochester. This is definitely an evolving project, so we'll have to see how it goes - I do have faith that it's going to work, especially, once word gets out and we post the "Reports" from the Kat encounters.

Greg - I did get reinstated back on the AI boards, I wrote to this Steve fella, that re-instates the accounts. Apparently, I was flagged because I broke a rule before (LOL), I probably posted a link or got "hot under the collar" with someone. I just have to be a good poster and follow the AI rules. I have a little team of people on the AI boards that are helping me get the word out, and I may drop some subtle hints over there, but I can not mention Katharine Fans whatsover!

So, anyway to all the others reading this - write to Kat, she's gonna love to hear from all of us!

I wanted to let you know that I also almost have confirmation on getting meet and greet passes, I wanted to let you know that I am going to the July16th show on Long Island (Nassau Coliseum), NY and would love to be the rep. for the katpack.

Oh my God, Miss All-the-People-of-the-World-Unite BROKE AI board rules and was BANNED?!  Co Baby, I never realized you had an ornery side to you! 

Thanks for the clarification on the project, and thanks for all the hard work.  It'll be a lot of fun for us.  Now I'll have to work hard at continually writing things that don't bore the poor girl to death.

Hi Melissa,  Awesome!!!  BTW, please call me Co.  For some reason I was thinking you were going to the Rochester show (that must be a sign that Yogini may be covering that one, I know she is working it), so its the July 16th Long Island show - great.  Definitely, keep us posted and thank you for letting us know, you are a champ!

Oh, Mutt - LOL.  Thank you for your humor, I love it!  Yeah, I don't know what  I did to get flagged over there.  I recall a few nasty people that really got my blood boiling, so I may have told them, "A thing or two, about a thing or two." 

Yes, start being creative - I know you won't bore her, not with your great sense of humor.

What a great project! Kat's going to love hearing from us all. Now I just need to make time to write her some notes. I wish I could get my hands on some of those meet and greet passes - I'll never stop trying! If I do, I'd gladly be the rep for the Syracuse, NY concert. Ahhh I'll keep dreaming. :oP Thanks for the heads up on the project! I think I'm going to the Rochester concert too and it's coming quickly and I'm beyond excited!
