Here's some good news to ease the negative speculation and concern going on about whether Katharine will actually join the tour at all. I know it's completely upsetting for the fans who have tickets to the shows she is not going to make, like this opening week, but she is truly sick. Yet here's the good news: I just got word from Momma McPhee that Katharine is disappointed, but she says "I can guarantee you that Katharine will join the tour as soon as the doctor gives the ok." I think we can take from that the fact that she will have to recuperate and follow doctor's orders, but she will join the tour when she is able to, so she is not cancelling out on the whole thing. I know many people were worried about that. Let us hope and pray every day for Katharine's strength, health, and voice to be protected and spared throughout the rest of the summer so that she will make it on the remainder of the tour!

Thanks Lea for the update.  I completely agree, Kat just needs to get rested up and healed.  I know how upsetting it must be for fans that really wanted to see her.  It's important that she joins the tour once she is 100%. 

We all just need to pray for her health and send out those good vibes for her to get well soon!

It's good news indeed to hear that Kat will re-join the tour when she is healed -- hopefully in the most complete way. My concern and hope is that she will allow herself to heal. Laryngitis and bronchitis can ruin a voice for a long time or for good, depending on whether silence is maintained for a good while. Let's hope & pray she practices patience long enough to allow her healing to last! It's great that her peers paid tribute to her! :-))
