They did another segment on Katharine and her bulimia.  I was expecting the worse, but it was really good.  They gave out good info on bulimia, praised Katharine for being strong and handling it during AI, and speaking out to help others.  They had another newscaster on that also has this disorder.  They also talked about  Paula being the spokes person for NEDA.  Overall a good segment.

Sorry no.  I just happen to be flipping through the channels and caught the interview.  Maybe they'll replay it?  I'll have to go check my tv guide and see if it says.

Kat sharing her story will end up helping many people.  Just based on the message boards alone, I'm shocked to find out that so many people don't understand what bulimia is.  Many people mistakenly think bulimia is the same thing as anorexia.  Although a person can suffer from both disorders, they are NOT the same thing.

The first step is education and knowledge, and Kat is already pointing people in the right direction.
