Katharine sang very well tonight.   I think she just needs to change up her style of songs because the same thing is going to bore America.  That said, she looked amazing and sang her booty off again.

Since the judges comments weren't the best, everyone has to make sure to vote and get all their friends and family to vote too. We can't let her down!!

Yes, a really good performance... however I think the judges comments were spot on.
Katharine always sings well, but as Simon said, there's more to the contest than just singing well.
In order to win Katharine needs to win over the audience as Carrie did with Alone and Independance Day.
She needs to find some really good, crowd pleasing songs and nail them early in the competition. Once she does that she can steamroll through to the finals!

It was a terrible song choice. The song was too boring to sing in a competition like this. Apparently Katharine intended to show her proficient control over her voice, but I assure you that's not what the majority of American viewers were expecting to hear. Simon was right. Few people would remember that performance. I don't think Katharine will be voted off as a result. Nevertheless, she needs to find her pace now, for the competition will only get tougher. There is no time for trial and error.
I was kind of disappointed in her performance tonight. Since she was the first one, I became somewhat cranky during the first half of the show. What made it worse is watching Kinnik Sky try so hard to stand out during Seacrest's talking. I mean, that's TOO MUCH!! I've got to say, Stop all those contrived manners, Ladies!! We can see you all. You don't need to be so pretentious to STAND OUT.
Maybe you guys enjoy that, but that repels me big time. Excuse me....

Yes, she did very well as usual. I too think this wasn't her best performance. But it was still very good. I got in 250 votes and my boyfriend voted for her like 10 times. Last week I voted 200 times. I'm gonna try to increase my vote count by 50 each week.

She got me a little worried last night after she sang. Even though she maintained her beautiful voice, she didn't show much expression and charisma. She's just so calm and serious, and made it so boring. Fortunately, the rest of the girls were even worse. I think last night everyone dropped a notch on performance quality, so the overall standings are still unchanged. Katharine is still the best, at least to my eyes. Com'on Katharine, you can do much better! Bring back your silliness on the stage - we love that!

Katharine wasn't totally on her game last night, but it wasn't as bad as everyone said. No matter how she does, I will continue to power vote for her because I know that she is amazing! America isn't stupid enough to vote her off!
