Born in Sherman Oaks, a suburb of Los Angeles, McPhee has been singing since the age of two. Her mother, Peisha Burch McPhee^Ώ], a vocal coach and accomplished cabaret singer, recognized a talent for music in her daughter and started training her. McPhee graduated in the class of 2002 from Notre Dame High School after which she attended The Boston Conservatory for three semesters with a concentration in musical theater. She left because she met a manager who wanted her to try out for parts during the television pilot season in Los Angeles. She did a pilot and an independent film. The film is called Crazy, and Kat has a bit part. It has not yet been released, I believe.

Check "Crazy" on the internet movie database (imdb.com). That's a fairly good source for all kind of movie/tv information. While you're there, post something nice on their ai board or Katharine's message board. Don't bother replying to the obvious trolls, who run rampant there, just post something nice of your own, or bump up an obviously friendly post. You can find her by just typing her name in the search cel.

I read from the internet that the movie will not going to be released and only the crew and member of the cast will get a copy of the movie....dunno how true it is, but i absolutely hope they'll release the film so that we all could see Kat in her "first" movie, hahahaha......

Yeah. She plays the Paramount Girl in the film. If you go to IMBD and type in her name it will show the plot of the movie and who all is in it.

Now that katharine is getting all this media attention and buzz, etc., maybe this will be reconsidered? If nothing else they could release it to tape or DVD, hoping fans would snap up all the copies. Which we probably would. Hmmm. Perhaps we should find out who the producer is and see if he has a website or if the movie does, and email him/them/whoever. Couldn't hurt, could it? Think I'll go back tothe IMDb and see what I can find out. I chased around all over the place and found an address for Rick Bieber, the writer/director/producer (I think) of the film Crazy. No email. So drop him a line and tell him you hope this film is made available in some form to the viewing public, and you might even suggest that you think it would be great if he kept Katharine in mind for future projects. From what I gather, he's been around a few years, worked with Michael Douglas at his production company, also worked for Fox, NBC, HBO, but this was the only address I was able to turn up without looking all night, if anyone is interested. entitled entertainment 606 N. But how big of a role does she have in it? I don't if I'll be able to sit through a whole movie only to see Kat in one scene especially if the movie isn't any good.
