As much as I LOVE Katharine...I'm not so sure about this song choice. The only thing I am sure about is that she outsang everyone else. I would put Kat, Kellie, and Ace in the top three this week. Vote, vote, vote......

All week long I'm worried over what Kats going to sing for country week, cause it's not her 'thang', and she goes and finds a rocking bluesy song I never heard of which doesn't sound a thing like country to me, but suits her style just fine! And of course she sings the **** out of it!!!And leaves Simon pretty much speechless.

She TOTALLY outdid everyone tonight with the vocals and put jazz into the song she chose, something I thought she might do! Simon could have at least praised her vocals... loved it when Katharine "had the last word" on him tonight though, by telling Simon "you just don't like country music, Simon, that's okay, just admit it!" I'm glad she had a way to get back at him a bit for the betrayal he did of her last week! Everyone notice her phone line was busy, busy, busy the ENTIRE 2 HOURS? I've always been able to get through many times during the final hour of voting, but tonight it STAYED BUSY the whole time! I hope that means votes were definitely coming in!

I thought after she did Come Rain or Come Shine I'd heard it all, nobody could top that ever, her included. But "Elvis" was a good effort and let her show off all her best stuff (which is about everything)--looks, voice, sex appeal, and that ability to just own the stage when she walks on. Star quality, I guess you'd call it.

Kat was her usual self, FANTASTIC!!! I gotta admit, Kellie turned in a really good performance also. But I vowed a while ago, that my votes were going to Kat and only Kat. She's the bestest of all of them!!

Everyone notice her phone line was busy, busy, busy the ENTIRE 2 HOURS? I've always been able to get through many times during the final hour of voting, but tonight it STAYED BUSY the whole time! I hope that means votes were definitely coming in! I noticed the same thing. I was non stop from the time that Bucky finished till 11:00 struck the clock E.S.T. It was alot harder to get votes through this week, as compared to last week. Last week I got one vote through, hung up called again, a 2nd vote, then a 3rd vote and so on and so on...which made me nervous and I guess we saw why since she was in the bottom 3. This week I got through maybe once every 15 attempts or so for 2 hours straight.....

I did not care for the song at all. I enjoyed her performance but the song didn't do a thing for me. But this was a big step for her and she got over it.
