for news and events featuring Kat's colaborator, producer and mentor,
the great Mr David Foster!
You'll already find mention of Katharine here and there, and a featured link back to KMF.
If she was actually signed to 143 you'd think something official would have surfaced by now. Instead we hear that she's looking for new music and recording. I am really curious. Oh all right, Goody, I'll just be patient. I signed up for the newsletter.
Katharine is simply captivating, alluring, elegant, radiant, totally beautiful on the video. The only rose among the thorns of excellent male artists and not to forget the genius, Mr. David Foster at the helm. KMF, davidfosterinfo and katpedia in just one site....remarkable...thank you. Sorry, this should be posted on the mandalay concert....i was just tooo excited..
And OTR is still on the charts. Somebody published the Billboard Top 100... dang, I wish I'd paid more attention... top 100 something or others, and OTR was still there. That tells you something. I know some people think Foster is passe' but fifty years from now nobody will be humming Hey you, you need a new girlfriend, but there may still be people debating whose version of Over The Rainbow is the definitive one. And guess who will be one of the ones they're fighting about.
groucho, If Katharine ever get's her OTR version out to the right demographic audience,it will be a total blowout. As Debbie Gibson took "You light up my life" to the Guiness World Book,I believe Katharine could do the same with OTR. As far as what some people think about David being passe, who care's.The man is honest about his song writing not being what it once was.He still has the "Ear". That is all he needs Katharine has a fantastic group of new friend's,and together, they will create the magic for Katharine.
THNX, I just subscribed. Katharine is so very fortunate to have David Foster believe in her. He himself is,a gifted composer, arranger and producer extraordinaire!! I noticed he has been tapped to produce the Grammy Foundation's salute,July12th, to Sir George Martin, also known as the 5th Beatle. How wonderful it would be if Katharine were invited to participate in the event and just maybe sing "Something" again!!! It is her best performance yet, IMO.
I'd like to see her do at least one duet with one of Foster's other guys, partly because it would just be fun and partly to try to tap into their audiences.

Just found this on Youtube looking for something else. I'm not the greatest Notebook fan, I remember it from the earlier movie with Robert Downey and Cybill Shepherd. That's when this became one of my favorite songs ever. Schmaltz squared? Maybe. Who cares, I'd love to hear it with Katharine. Then she can keep the rest of the album light 'n lively.
A propos of not much, the movie was called Chances Are, and one of the characters was played by a guy named Christopher McDonald (if you want to know why that stood out for me, check out the Fan Fiction Forum), and BTW, Mr. McDonald is also among the cast of The House Bunny. Just thought I'd mention that little twist of fate.
The duet of the century would be Katharine and Josh Groban
Hi People Never said i was always right. We all hear the same lyrics and music, but what really registers is different in all of us.Melodies, tempo and pitch make up part of who fit's with who .With the right electronic equipment, the producer's can put together the Best Sounding Duo's.Mistakes can cost $$$$$$$$$$$, and for this reason,David foster is one of the best producers in the business, and so are his "Ear's" Our Katharine can sing with any one,but it's the finished product that counts, and don't be Surprised if we see Katharine performing a duo with a famous female diva.
Hi Guy's Take a look at the _UK_reissue of "Can't Help Falling In Love With You"{Andre Boceli} On the youtube version
