This just turned up at the IMDb. Of all the movies I don't want to go see. Is this a loyalty test?
House Bunny now has its own Myspace!

There's a video of Anna Faris talking about the site, and she gives a basic link, but I couldn't get anywhere with it, so either my computer is burping again or the site isn't completely developed. However, the above link takes you to the profile page, and there is one cute shot of Katharine and a couple of the other girls. I requested to be a friend of House Bunny just in case any info shows up that way.
won't be long nowjust a little over 3 months till Katharine's movie debut
4 months. August 22. I guess Mr. Sexy Hair was wrong when he said something about June.
Is there another trailer due out on the 12th? A full length version? I'm sure it'll find its way to the Internet soon enough. I wouldn't bother spending money on Prom Night just to see the trailer. Didn't Star Wars fans do that kind of thing when the new trilogy came out. Or the prequels?
I'm excited that House Bunny has a MySpace! I friended their page and I'm sure we'll be seeing trailers come up there in no time, so no need to go see a movie you wouldn't normally see when we can watch the trailer over and over again in the comfort of our own homes!
Actually there is a trailer on Myspace. Click "Pix" on the profile page and it links you to a page that has the trailer on it. I'd have to go back and find it again to post a direct link. Hang on.

Anna Faris is really growing on me for some reason. She's showing up in a lot of my favorite places: Entourage, Katworld, etc.
Oh dear God, one of my old Kat Kaptions here became prescient and predicted Hugh Hefner would have a cameo in "House Bunny." At least none of the A-list actresses were required to give him a sponge bath as I suggested.
Thanks to Groucho and everybody for the alerts on the "HB" trailer. I went on the movie's MySpace page earlier and see a lot of the Katharine community regulars in the top friends list, so kudos to you for getting their attention. The script sounds dryly funny based on the trailer, and we may get some good guffaws out of this when it releases next August. I wouldn't have expected the script to be anything but witty based on the writing talent behind it. Hopefully Kat gets some of those Faris barbs that didn't make it into the trailer. At least her expressions (and overall appearance) are eye-catching. Not that she needs to be noticed by a Hollywood agent at this point.
This one seems to play up one of my favorite genres (that "Frasier" used to use): The not-so-bright colliding with the intellectual crowd and the hilarity that ensues. In this case, we have a romantic plot revolving around it (Colin Hanks and Anna Faris seem to have great chemistry) and some colorful characters in the background. It doesn't appear they make Kat's character air-headed, thankfully.
You know, if Kat never gets to the point where she's a leading lady in films (and I say this in the remotest chance due to the vagaries of Hollywood)--she could have a great career as a character actor. In fact, doing parts like this would provide a lot more work for her and still net her Academy Award nominations. I've long respected character actors in movies over the leads, because they get more challenging parts in addition to generally being more memorable in their roles.
But that character actor idea comes with people who aren't as physically beautiful as Kat is. She really demands something spectacular as a lead in a major movie. We just have to wait until all the timing works out in a time when timing in showbiz...well, takes time.
From the House Bunny Myspace, found by Philly_Idol_6 @ IDF:
Why is Anna Faris's head so much bigger than the others?
I love that Kat's featured in the promo like that. I know they paused the clip on Kat's part on the side there but that she's one of the three featured sorority girls behind Anna is cool.
