You are all seriously going to croak when you see/hear these. The site was overloaded or something and kept cutting in and out, but stick with it, it's worth it. I kept wondering if her mother would think this reminded her of herself a few years back, maybe. Same look as her album cover (P's, not K's.) It's the VH1 arrangements with the wild keyboards on Love Story and they all sound like different songs. If Each Other really is the next single, hearing it like this makes me think it could really be something. She doesn't need anything but herself and a piano and guitar to make magic.

When you listen to their respective solo debuts, it's astonishing that Katerine McPhee was the runner up to Taylor Hicks on American Idol's fifth season -- McPhee's soulful alto makes her one of the most commanding singers to emerge from the talent show. Born in Los Angeles in 1984, she began singing at a young age and quickly became a frontrunner in the fifth season of American Idol, in which she eventually placed second. Her self-titled debut appeared in 2006 and eventually charted in the Top 10.

And then the review of the EP with the usual 'E' placed in Kat's first name:
"This is 'Love Story' unplugged," announces Katherine McPhee before the stomping rendition of the opening track from her self-titled debut. With a driving acoustic guitar and rollicking grand piano, the tune has all the energy of the glossily-produced version, but here McPhee's soul-packed warble is fiercely in the foreground. Accompanied only by piano, her reading of "Over It" is a down tempo heart breaker, and the session closes with the gently swaying Rhodes and guitar of "Each Other." The simpler presentation suits McPhee, letting her voice truly steal the show.
thanks NothlitHawk777 for posting these. I personally have missed some of your great posts here and hope to see you back more ona regular basis. Your fan input is highly appreciated.
These rhapsody recordings are SPECTACULAR!! You indeed got tears out of my Dad on these.
They're selling these? Oh holy shirt. I gotta go check it out.
Or maybe I should say "oh don piano." If you ever need something that can make you laugh no matter what, try this. Well, it works for talking cat fanciers anyway. Totally OT. Sorry.
