I love that pic of Kat and Peisha Minnie posted above. They see one another rarely enough...so it was good to see a media pic showing them together. Now if we could just see them perform together somewhere someday...not necessarily tomorrow in Seattle.

Many of you may not know that Peisha will be up in Seattle tomorrow with Kat. Obviously, they'll be visiting their relatives who live in the area while there--but those at the concert may want to be on the lookout for Peisha in the audience. I can't picture Peisha having to sit around screaming teenybops who went to lose their voice screaming at Hilary. Though I'm sure she's been to concerts like that before. If not, I hope she has ear protection. A music teacher with a good ear shouldn't take the risk of ruining their hearing.

Anyway, a huge Happy Mother's Day to Peisha and all our mothers. I had the good fortune (or some would say otherwise) of having my birthday two days before Mother's Day. Actually, it WAS on Mother's Day the year I was born. My birthday has always been celebrated around the same time as Mother's Day, which has never bothered me, personally. If it wasn't for our mothers...we wouldn't exist or be hopefully well-balanced individuals. And God forbid Himself that he'd allow nature to allow fathers to give birth to their offspring.

Here's hoping Kat and Peisha can spend some quality time together with their relatives up in the Seattle area. Kat said in a recent radio interview that she seldom sees her of late...

well........Mother's Day isn't over with just yet, so i thought i would stop by with a wish that i hope Moms everywhere had a very great day, also a Happy Mother's Day to Peisha, thank you for being that special mother of Katharine's.

Yeah, here's hoping Peisha had a great Mother's Day and she and Kat had some quality time together. It's always been gratifying to see them enjoying one another's company when out to lunch together rather than getting pictures looking as if they were in the middle of a food fight as you'd get with other celebrity pics with their moms. Hearing stories about how some of the most influential celebrities in Hollywood still don't get along well with their moms (or dads) is always painful to hear about.

Well, I was fortunate to have my birthday on Sunday in conjunction with Mother's Day. A lot of people would hate having it associated with Mother's Day (and, sure, I had some mocking of it as a kid for whatever reason)--but it's always been something that's enjoyable to me. I'm one to defer to other members of the family anyway and not pound the fork and knife if a cake isn't delivered to the table...

I just hope the relationship between Kat and Peisha continues. They have too strong of a bond not to, even though the vagaries of eventual superstardom sometimes take people in strange directions...depending on their principles.
