After many months of no changes to her Myspace site, Kat has made numerous ones over the past 4 days. She added Real Love and then generated a lot of interest when she replaced Open Toes with Everywhere I Go. She has made changes to her Top Friends as well, adding some college friends, Kellie Pickler and now has added Ryan Leslie to her Top friends. This is minor but could it be the signal of something? Am I just over-analyzing? Hey I love the updates she is doing but this one along with EIG have me thinking about what the logic may be behind it. Unreleased tracks? Working on second CD? All kinds of thing can enter your mind if you let it go free!
I sure wish she would change her default picture and put up a layout to make it less sterile.
Kat has made a few more recently. These "hints" are really interesting. She has added Ryan Leslie, Ingrid Michaelson and today she added Room For Two to her Top friends and she was added to theirs. All of these folks are based in NYC and as we have not seen any pics of her back in LA she may be still in NY. Check out Room For Two. I really like their single and the rest of the songs on their page. There is some speculation they may be writing some material for her new CD. If these are hints about the new CD I am more excited for it. It is more adult but great pop material and if she can get some great songs could be a fantastic CD for her.

I don't know if Kat meant this as a "clue", but its safe to assume that there's some connection. It's good to know that the project is progressing. Hopefully there'll be some real news soon!
Tonight another Dynamic Duo UK graduate-performs on AI__ {Natasha belongs to the "B"team_small venues} While Leona is out of the country and Jordan is parked with vocal chord problem's,Natasha Bedingfeld picks up the ball.The talk show's are booked with her and she will start her US tour afterward. It boggles my mind how these two 'Pimp's} never let up. We should thank our lucky stars that Katharine was able to see through them two year's ago.It was a blessing that she parted with those Two,and everyone connected to them,including the Label.
i never tire of listening to this song and i too have heard many and then some. Garland had hers for her generation, now Katharine picks up and does it for her generation to be here for many years to come.

Me too. I'll always think of Katharine whenever I hear this song as I heard someone sing it in Paris last week. And it wouldn't surprise me if she performs SOTR at the David Foster Tribute. Hey Maddie, this concert is not to be missed. I'm going too.
I still believe that Kat's SOTR is going to become the definitive version of this song remembered for generations to come. And yes, I think she will sing it again some day, but she needs to make her mark with her own material first.
This is a good example of why I really hope she IS working with Ryan Leslie again.

He has a real love for a great melody and has great sense of a great vocal in R&B. His style is more old school to me than the current Top40 rhythmic leaning dribble. It is more adult, has great grooves, and I think is much more of Kat's better R&B styles. He is more Babyface than Danja. Great singers, great melodies, and great grooves.
