Katharine McPhee is the latest young star to join the ranks of girls (Hayden Panettiere, Vanessa Hudgens, Mischa Barton and Jennifer Love Hewitt) who’ve represented the cosmetics giant.

 

McPhee has just signed a two-year endorsement deal with Neutrogena. She will become the new flawless face of the skin care company’s anti-acne product line.

While no official announcement has been made from Neutrogena’s camp, a source close to the deal says the entertainer pocketed more than $500,000 for the use of her fresh-faced visage.

McPhee already shot her first commercial for the line in LA on March 16. Look out for the ad and the prints in a couple of months.

I wonder if that was in the works before the AI appearance. If it wasn't, one can certainly understand with all of those incredible closeups of her flawless complexion, why Neutragena would want to sign her. However, I will agree with the guy that was talking to Ryan on the radio (Ken Baker?) that Katharine pushing the anti-acne line is a little complexing! Unless, in her adolescent years she had break-outs that were difficult to control! We no doubt will learn something new about Katharine in the infomercials! I'm just thrilled for her !

I must be able to see into the future
My Tagging Katharine's appearence two week's on AI as a "Show Case Performance " was just that.
You have to walk the walk to talk the talk.
Casting calls are a total nightmare and i know because between my children and grandchildren,i've
probably been to a couple of hundred of them in the past thirty five years.

Katharine on tube we all know Jump's out at you,Pan or close up-She is out right Beautiful.
This is just the beginning for our Katharine,and like i've been saying -Patience is all we needed.

There is a history of the Kat-zit link.....Don't you guys recall the video,taken at the same time she did her Meatloaf bit and impression?
Kat did admit to having zits and consequently, the weird enjoyment of popping them.....I'll try to find that video!

You mean one of that trilogy where she was talking about Paul Walker whisking her away to a cabin in the woods or something? I just saw that somewhere, she was talking about plucking her eyebrows and popping zits and then said "Weird, huh?" She looked adorable. Everyone should be that weird.

That weird? Everyone is. IMO, Everyone should be that adorable!

I think that comment may have even been a couple places. Like the early people.com clips and then maybe in an interview with a Canadian Idol?

You know we obsess about spelling Katharine correctly.... we should spell Neutrogena correctly as well. It has an "o"! I can't wait to see our girl in all the ads! I think she is more beautiful post marriage than ever.

LOL, red sox. I always thought it was funny when Kat was asked for beauty tips in the first KMF Q&A, and she said to wash your face! Maybe Kat just wanted to withhold any product endorsements until companies actually started to pay her.
