I believe Nick is invloved in theater production...but whatever;it's great that he is able to accompany Kat on her business trips around the country.Nick appears to be a very considerate guy,and yes,that would include caring for Kat and their pets!

Maybe he's independently wealthy, red. 
As long as he keeps Katharine happy, I don't care what he does. 
If that changes, maybe I'll reevaluate my position vis-a-vis Nick.

I think it's great that he has a job that allows him to be with Kat much of the time. My mom and step-dad worked together in his construction business for years and they were a great team. They never fought, they just really liked each other's company. Many couples would never be able to work and be together so much so I think it speaks to a great friendship foundation and mutual love and respect. I think this dynamic duo are here to stay!

I remember a long time ago, reading a quote whose context is entirely lost in limbo,
where she said "you just find somebody you like to spend time with." That sounds so
simple, but there are so many other things she could have said, and when you look at
a lot of Hollywood hookups, you can almost predict the future - career clashes, bimbo eruptions,
whatever. I know a lot of people think NOBODY should get married until they're at least 30,
but I can't help it, I just get a more stable vibe from these two, whatever it's based on, and
for now, that's enough for me, because I think it's what Katharine needs. For a kite to fly high,
it needs a lot of string, but it also needs a solid base holding it fast to the earth so it doesn't
just flutter off and get lost. (That's grandparental Groucho speaking there.)

I get the same kind of vibe about Kat and Nick too Groucho. Kat's always struck me as more mature and level headed than most of her counterparts in the business and Nick has always been sooooooooooooo supportive of her. Of course, we can't really know much about their relationship, but I just feel these two are headed for a long, happy future together. Kat saying that he "keeps her grounded" speaks volumes and is a good indication that their relationship runs very deep. I just hope, that with the age difference, he keeps himself in good shape so he can keep up with her in the future. Bet they have some beautiful babies together!
