McPhee shares a tender moment with her proud papa Daniel, who was "happy to give me away," she says. Adds McPhee: "I had been holding on to my dad, trying not to cry. Then the doors opened, and I was blown away."

SEALED WITH A KISS

After walking down an aisle flecked with pink and ivory rose petals – to the sounds of bagpipe music – McPhee and Cokas united at the altar to make it official. "I was so emotional," McPhee says. "And moved by the whole thing."

BRIDAL PARTY

Surrounded by family and friends – including fellow Idol alum Kellie Pickler (right) – McPhee finds herself in gorgeous company. "I was so honored when Katharine asked me to be a bridesmaid," Pickler said. "[The wedding] was like a fairy tale. I didn't want it to end."

SETTING THE MOOD

The reception – held at St. Viviana's – was designed with a "shabby chic" theme, wedding planner Denise De Quevedo tells PEOPLE. Meanwhile, tables were set with rose and peony centerpieces.

MUSICAL TRIBUTE

At the reception, McPhee does what she does best – sings! After being serenaded by Cokas (he performed Billy Joel's "She's Got a Way"), she returned the favor with a rendition of "Unforgettable" by Natalie Cole.

CUTTING UP

They may have dug into the four-tiered wedding cake (with buttercream frosting), but McPhee says the two "barely" ate dessert. But that didn't stop the two from celebrating. "We're a perfect fit," Cokas tells PEOPLE.

These are all so very pleasant to our eyes, but as i adore the pictures and come across david foster and kat playing beautiful music together, i kinda felt, how about something that would be pleasant to our ears ...their music... kat and david foster's collaboration.

Hopefully, we will be hearing more on this in the not so distant future.

Yes,goodgracious..... the implication of David Foster's presence at the wedding is totally exciting!We know David admires Kat and her talent,but I think they are also friends(as he is with Bocelli);and,as Kat has said,David has a passion for singers.I therefore feel that their future creative effort will be more than a collaboration....it will be based on mutual respect and caring!Unlike the Clive/RCA impetus for big bucks,I think David would emphasize quality and allow Kat's unique,natural artistry to be supported.Can't wait to hear the result!!

I missed something...where was the implication that DF was at the wedding? 

in my mind the ultimate "Idol" contestant of the pre-lapsarian era, the one who most perfectly combined the demands for relentless emotive singing and the wow factor -- Katharine McPhee

Yeah, he played the piano at the reception when they sang love songs to each other. The first photos were a little blurry but when better ones came out you could see it was Foster. Take a good look at the photo above.
