The first 2 nice quality videos we got of Katharine in the Idol tour and still 2 of the best videos to come out of that...that.
Love the little impromptu speech in the middle of BHATCT, only Katharine would do that at the first performance of her first tour.
Love the smiles and the way she waves and says hello to all the little girls during SOTR and the look on her face after the a capella part as she strolls across the stage.
You can't teach this stuff, it is instinct. Oh to see her touring a full tour of her own material. Maybe next year.

Great idea! Why don't you go ahead and do it? See that "Add" button next to all the media? Just upload your original vidoes to VEOH, click the "Add" button in Katpedia and then paste the URL from VEOH in the Link field and away we go.

Simon, what happens when multiple videos are added to one song entry? Just get more camera icons, as for audio? Can they be removed by the uploader too? And how would I add a song entry? Or 2. (Ken cringes)
Would it be worthwhile to make a page that is just for testing? I don't want to mess anything up on that gorgeous site!

By all means go ahead and add whatever you like - we know we will be getting excellent product from you. Just click the "Add" button next to the media section for the performance for which you wish to upload the video.
There are complete instructions in the form that comes up.
Only really 2 steps:
Select Video for the type Paste the full link to the video e.g.

(If it is a stage6 divx enter the width and height too, unlike the other video formats these vary between videos.)
Yes, additional videos will just be added to the media section, no problem.
We are not allowing deleting due to the possibility of sabotage but there is really nothing to mess up.

To add a song, click "add song". Fill out as much as you can. Televised Performance would have an importance ranking of a 10. Live Performance would be an 11.
Primary vs. Non Primary decides if it's an "Original" and therefore displays on the homepage. In most cases, a unique song only has 1 original, but there are exceptions like in the case of Idol Performances, Next Big Star performances or accounting for official releases, ie singles.
For the Nick appearance, run a search on Nick and it will give you the context we used for the Over It performance.

When in doubt, just don't fill it out. You can always post on the board that you added something and it'll be adjusted. Really the key here is that your adding content. We need that sort of involvement from all of us for the site's media to be able to evolve. So little time, so many holes to fill.
Any mp3 url should be a streaming one ending in filename.mp3 . It's recommended to use fileden. That way it won't disappear down the road.
In terms of multiple videos, or audios, or whatever, we can monitor the most recently added media by clicking the "What's New" button the upper right hand side of the site, under "Media"

If we want to make the new video icon the higher icon or delete an older one, we can.
BTW, and this is for all people who like the site and would like to see it grow, there's an easy way for you to check what doesn't have media or audio. Use the filter on the left hand site at the top for "Media". Select "No Audio" or "No Video"
