With the release of the song on iTunes the promotional campaign for OCAYF can now begin. The request site that was developed for Love Story has been modified for this campaign. The site will give you a listing of the stations that are playing continuous Holiday music throughout this season. It was figured that this was the most likely group of stations to target. However you can also target your local station that may play holiday music on occasion. Call or email and make your requests for this classic version of the song and if they don't have it, we are allowed to provide it to them. There is a link on this site for the unprotected version of the song from last year as that is the only legal version we can send to stations. The iTunes version is clearer but this version is fine for FM airplay. You can email the stations a copy of the song and if you like burn them a CD to send of this version. The YES site has been sent a copy and it will be added to their system so we may be able to track any spins that may happen. I emailed my local station, which I have contacted before, but can't remember if they were one of the ones that responded to requests or not. forgot to mention the upcoming special,though, but at least they now have access to a copy of the song.
