You might want to ask somebody how to post these as direct links. Something seems to have misfired, and it's a bit difficult to cut/paste each one of them. Or you can post the pictures by selecting the little icon with the mountains in the upper right corner, then paste the link into the cel at the top.

Ok, I fixed all these links since there is someone in this forum who cares enough to make a request for it.

Thanks for your interest and I hope you guys to visit Thailand sometime soon!

Those last 2 pics are really nice.

I will have a few months off next year, and I might take a detour into Thailand if I end up in that part of the world...

If you need help finding someplace to live, please feel free to ask me.

The very luxurious resort that you can stay like Pimalai only costs you 450 dollars per night and it's all inclusive. This means all three meal per day would be provided to you including bottle of wine and the ocean view suite, I believe.

If you like nature of forest, I'd suggest you to go north of Thailand. Wanna to go shopping, Bangkok would be the best option and going to the beach, South of thailand such Krabi is a great choice!

Thanks! I think I have some connections in Thailand, though. It would be a side trip from Hong Kong, if I visit HK and had some spare time. I believe Hong Kong has some huge, swanky malls, too, and I'm not really into shopping that much (although those mall pics look nice). Malls in the US don't seem as popular now as they were 1-2 decades ago, it seems.

That chichi resort sounds tempting, but I am a cheap traveler. It's good to know that the Thai forests haven't been cut down yet. I'd want to ride an elephant through the woods!

Is Phuket still recovering from the tsunami?

I've not been to Phuket like forever..... In fact, I've not even been back home or seen my family for 5 years already.

However, as I as I'm concerned, Phuket had very little impact on Tsunami. Since it's one of the most popular tour destinations, I believe the government had already managed to do damage control on the part of the country that I need to be re-done.

By the way, what is Chi Chi resort?

That's too bad. I hope you can return home sometime soon.

I think there were a few hundred or a few thousand deaths in Phuket from the tsunami - not too bad compared to Indonesia, but terrible by US standards. I wouldn't be headed there, anyway - I'm not the type to (just) lay on the beach for an entire vacation.

Chichi is a slang adjective meaning swanky, posh, high-class, etc.

If I do go to Thailand, it'll be during typhoon season, so let's hope for calm weather this year.
