Hey everyone,
As I'm sure you all know by now that Katharine had to let Lily go a little over a week ago and I've been working on a drawing that I was just going to send and that's it, but then I thought I would get a card and also if you guys want to be apart of it, I will accept notes that you want to write to Kat to share your sympathy especially if you've lost an animal yourself. I personally have and it's not easy.
Also, Lisa from Sweden is going to help as well with her contribution of a Kat and Lily montage. If there is anything you would like to add it besides a note, please let me know asap. I want to get this to her the week after the 4th of July since she will be in NY for the 4th. I will atleast wait til the end of next week since this is under such short notice.
P.S. Here is a drawing of the picture... I'm no professional so it's not going to look like one, I'm just now have been learning the technical drawings of people and it's not as easy as it looks.
jenniexAI Incredible drawing and such a showing of love.Katharine will be taken away with your amazing work of art and empathy. My heart goe's out to Katharine on her loss.
Nice drawing Jennie!
Here's one drawn by Trina for the Poetry Project book. Maybe Trina can send me a copy for framing.
It's so very sad when an old friend passes, and that's exactly what a family dog is. Retrievers are sweet, loyal, loving, intelligent companions. We have three Goldens, and we almost lost the elder last Christmas. He's 10, which is getting up there for a large dog, and we breathed a sigh a relief when his fever moderated. But more than a few tears were shed along the way. I can imagine how terrible Kat, Adriana, Peisha and Dan must feel.
