Since the Danish channel is much behind bringing Idol 7 shows, it was not untilo recently I saw Beatles evening and her performance. Imho she simply outclassed all 12 my at least a mile. And Sony BMG let this kind of god-blessed singer go?!
I look forward to hers cooperation with David Foster and hope she will get much influence on her upcopming CD. I hope too it will be something in style of Mariah Carey's debut album, most powerr ballads, swing, jazzy rocking songs, but no RB songs. If she does some acoustic songs it will be great.
I hope some of you remember my thread about a fabulous Danish singer (the best talent in last 30 years in Denmark) Laura, who got to the finale in Danish X-factor. She lost to a 15 years old boy who for the most sings through his nose but moves quite good.
Can we see something similar - Kat losing to Taylor and Laura losing to Martin. The worst of that was, that Sony BMG the incompetent recording company didn't sign Laura because in their opinion she didn't represent a commercial value by not writing songs.
She's incredible - just check out her version of Same mistake song of James Blunt, and her version of If I ain't got you of Alicia Keys.

In a nutshell: Katfan07 was simply "blown away" by Kat's performance of "Something" on the Beatles week results show, which apparently just got aired in Denmark.

If she was American...well what are the rules on this? Do you just have to be currently residing in America? You obviously don't have to be born here as we've seen with Michael & Carly. Although I do wonder how much that hurt them...I hope it didn't but as we saw with Katharine not having a distinct "home base" to draw votes from can hurt your chances. I still think it was an amazing feat for Katharine to get to the finale without an entire region of the country behind her like the guys had.
