    Hmm...I'm still confused how a place that doesn't have the name Katharine McPhee anywhere in the title became a haven for Katharine stuff BUT...I'm not denying that it's true.

    Regardless, nice to see that from AOL about the best places for Katharine on the Web.  Although we all know her official site really isn't but that's OK.

    I think it's because Katharinefans is what comes up generally first on Google searches after you type Katharine's name in. Otherwise, anybody typing in Katharinefans automatically might assume they're going to a Katharine Hepburn fansite. Not that there's anything wrong with that. 


    Thanks, Sheena, for bringing that info here. This place still gets stuck, though, in having people lurk rather than post. We still have the same contingent of posters here that go way back...including myself. New people just come in dibs and drabs. I don't know if that's because people are shy--or the truly famous are looking in and don't want to be called out. After all, I did give pre-welcomes to celebrities here last summer...especially Marilyn Manson who you just know is looking in.


    AOL should mention McPheeClub's board now--despite that also just getting the same longtime group posting over and over...myself again included. They probably don't want to mention that one, though, because you have to pay to post there. Out of all, though, KMF and IDF are truly the best if you're looking for real "discussion" on Kat's life and work. As nutty and edgy as it gets at IDF, I've peeked in there and seen some fantastic convos about Kat going on recently.

    Yes, Kat's public domain RCA board should just fold now or revamp itself. Last I visited, it looked empty...except for remnants of posts there we'd all like to forget...

    You're welcome, Greg..For me, this is the best Kat board that I've ever been to. I tried looking for other sites, but it just doesn't feel that I connect, you know? I've come to be familiar with this site and the people here, and have made some really good friends at that. (you included... )

    Yes, Shina ... I have stopped going to any place else..... This is my KAT Home... BTW my head is still twirling from those pics at the Yong Hollywood Awards... I still cant see right... *heh*
