"Its" MEEEEEEEEEEE! lol I loved that intro. It was a perfect way to start off the video blog. When you see that adorable face and hear that charming enthusiasm, you know that it has to be Katharine McPhee. Of course she is looking good, she always looks good, I don't think she can ever not look good. She is beautiful all the time and I didn't notice that her hair was different, what's different about it? It's really great that she took the time out of her very busy schedule to give us this sweet video blog but now she's on to Canada.

If she got back on the 11th, and left today cause today is Thursday, that's not a lot of time to rest up from the previous trip. But I guess she knew it was coming because she said she wanted to be busy all the time on the Rachael Ray show, well she got her wish and I am so proud of her. Canadian Idol, never heard of it, is it going to be on in the U.S. or just in Canada?

Yay!! It's so nice to hear from her! I wonder if we're ever going to get that "song of the week" though...I'm not complaining though! It's nice just to hear from her!

Unfortunately, these video blogs have been moved from Katharine Myspace over to this RCA Musicbox site and that site is, alas, not  a site that I can rip using the freeware (no charge) software that I've been getting these with.  But trippy11 does have the program that can find and extract these streams from brightcove.com server.

I said this somewhere, but to me she sounded seriously jetlagged, like her brain wasn't quite catching up with her mouth... but with Katharine it's hard telling since she occasionally has that problem anyway. God love her, you do get the best interviews that way, dont' you? (Cut to Guy and Roger with jaws dropping and a big Oh No Not Again expression on their faces.)

Yes, arden15 that MusicBox site is very bandwidth sensitive and if I am doing too many things on my DSL it tells me that my bandwidth is "insufficient" for their site.

I downloaded the file but it didn't automatically pop up as usual. I am getting a message that it's already downloaded and to check my download location which I have no idea where that is.help

Well different programs use different spots.  If you are using Explorer check My Document>My Downloads or right click the file in the Download Manager and choose open containing folder or open downloaded file.

As a last resort you could search for the file using the Windows Search function  but depending on how much stuff you have on your computer might take a take a while.

Try Start> My Recent Documents and see if it is on that list, sometimes they are there even if you haven't played them.

I don't get why this vid blog fades out before Kat finishes what she was going to say. I wanted to hear more about her excitement of visiting Canada...but I guess this proves there's only an allotted amount of memory space available to record these things. Though I think I remember some past vid blogs where Kat talked a little longer than she did here. Even her 'Over It' lullaby ran more than a minute over three minutes.

It's just good to see Kat looking more rested and obviously happy to get back to work. Also, it only makes sense someone would stay in Italy for the rest of the week. You can't visit there for just one day while on business and not be tempted to stay to take in all the sights. Somehow I picture an Italian paparazzi cameraman following her and Nick in a gondola down the canals in Venice. Thankfully, Venice more or less still thinks it's 1885...so there was nothing to worry about.

This was good for Kat, though, in getting some European culture. She needs to absorb all of that as soon as possible, because she'll soon be an international star who'll be spending lots of time there performing.  I'm afraid of seeing hundreds of guys rushing the stage once she starts doing concerts in the testosterone-laden cities of Italy and France...
