Yay! I heard from Peisha about the video!  I posted this on the original video link but I wasn't sure you all would get it there so I'm posting this one as well. Here is her reply for everyone to see...can't WAIT for Kat to view the video. Thanks for all your support and pass this on!!

"Hi danette. I am just today reading your e-mail

doing that , just so touching, best  wishes

WELL-DESERVED, DANETTE. BEAUTIFULLY DONE.

We are definitely working together -- working on a record together. She sings so magnificently, it's just amazing -David Foster-

That's awesome. I love your video too, and I'm sure Kat will love it....even though it is her least favorite song on the album.

Congratulations Danette! I know Kat will be thrilled to see the magical creation you have made. Peisha is just so sweet for taking the time to watch your tribute and Kat will be as well. I sent Peisha an E-mail a couple weeks ago asking her what she thinks of Kat's career right now but haven't gotten anything back. I guess like Kat, Peisha is busy too with things.

Danette that is wonderful! I am sure Piesha and Kat get a lot of video so it is super that it found its way to the top. And I am sure it will get Kat will to see the song in a way that she hasn't thought about before, as it did with most of us, and move her just as much. So happy for you my dear.

Danette--thanks for posting that here! I was waiting to see if you'd start a thread about the reaction to your amazing vid. I think Kat and Peisha are both overwhelmed by the fans out there once again and what they've done in the last year. In my mind, your video may be the most meaningful of all next to (hopefully) the poetry book. Even after the war is over, Kat and Peisha can look at your video again to see what an impact a song from Kat's album can do in conveying emotion and in the connections it made in putting things in perspective--plus in the connections to your own life.

That's fantastic you're getting great feedback from Iraqi soldiers. Those are the ones we need to hear more from--so getting this out to them so they can see it should be an important task. If only it could be downloaded into the laptops (well, let's hope they have their own computers over there) of soldiers over there right now--it'd help them get through the day much better. Perhaps even they feel confined within all the madness over there. Seeing how you put the war into a profound perspective would undoubtedly inject them with enough inspiration to see this through to the end.

Your video is the perfect example of making us see the world through a different prism. We all need to look at things through a wider scale in the times we're living in so we can keep inspired about who we are and where we're going. Kudos to you for bringing that inspirational sense to world events, life and everything in-between in your video.

The only thing better would be to hear Kat's own personal comment to you about this...

Greg, through this process I ended up adopting two soldiers. I'll be writing them and e-mailing, sending toiletries, snacks, inspirational material..whatever they want or need. I went through soldiersangels.com and when I talked to a woman there by the name of Jan, she told me they do have computers on the bases so I sent him the video. The only thing is that alot of the guys are imbeded so they won't get mail, etc. until they return to a base which can be 2-3 weeks. I also will be e-mailing the video to one of the guys wife so I'm sure she will pass it on to other military families/1
