seriously though, who are the other Idols on the magazine who were discussed aside from Kat?? i mean, with so much space Kat's occupied, which others were lucky enough to grace the pages?

Aside from my reservations of People placing Kat in the "Where Are They Now?" section--this is a great tribute to her transformation during 'AI.' With all those people working on her backstage, it's no wonder if someone from the staff would come up to her later and tell her they helped straighten her bra (well, that person was probably fired after 'Hound Dog')--and Kat wouldn't remember who they were. Ironic that dozens of people were making Kat look beautiful when she already was by her own genetics. But they at least helped create some memorable outfits for her that mostly stayed together.

People usually does these "WATN?" segments for people who truly have disappeared (usually child actors from yesteryear). They should be featuring Kat on the front page every week lately for crying out loud. I guess I heard that the recent People shoot was supposedly part of a photo spread for the Most Beautiful issue coming up. By all the sheer logic you can muster, she should be in the Top Ten in that issue. And with that, we'll likely see some outtakes from that recent shoot we loved so much.

We still should lobby for a Sexiest Woman in Hollywood issue from People rather than letting them continue to be biased toward the males each year. Kat could end up breaking a record for being on the cover of that annual issue more often than any other woman in show business. People isn't afraid to have repeats as we've seen with the other gender.

By the way, if that's Kat's actual handwriting in the "incomplete sentences" page--then she has an interesting way of writing (left-handed, of course). I've studied some Graphology...but it might get too personal to analyze it.

Those Where Are They Now articles are usually reserved for information about people who have disappeared from the limelight for quite some time. Although it was great they included Katharine, she is very much in the forefront and clearly does not belong in that category. Oh well, publicity is always a good thing.

And then there are the people who have disappeared so totally that they couldn't have found
any recent info on them if they'd tried... so maybe this says something good. Plus they wouldn't
feature pictures of people they thought no one was interested in.

I was in Walgreen's yesteday and flipped through this cover-to-cover, and it's an excellent AI yearbook.  I'll be picking a copy up of it, althought it's a$9.95 for this issue.  FYI - It will be on display through July, so plenty of time to pick up a copy.

It appears to be her hand-writing just comparing it to her signature. If it is, I find it amazing how verticle and well formed her letters are for being left-handed. Being another leftie, I always found it difficult to write in vertical letters. I always seem to write with a forward angle.....

Those are very Stunning pictures. The transformation from her audition to her AMA look, flawless.
But even during her audition, Katharine was the beautiful American Sweetheart.
Now Katharine is the American Sweet and Sexy sweetheart.

That is the question I am asking myself: Where is Kat? we haven't seen or heard anything new from her. Is she back from Italy yet?

well im a leftie too, but i get cramps when i try to write slanting to the right, so my normal way of writing is in a vertical angle. actually i have similar way of writing small letters w/ tails like g, and y with Kat's -- i dont extend the tail curling to the left, it just goes straight downwards.

some people also notice how i can't seem to make my handwriting as big as it should be, coz it's pretty small, though i think not too small that it's unreadable... it's quite hard for me to write, i dont know w/ other lefties, but i get cramps if ive been writing for about 10mins or so, and most of the time i occupy only the left part of the paper.

anyway, yea, the struggles of being a leftie.

Great, she's in a new magazine. I'll try to pick it up at the library tomorrow at school, that should be fun to read it! If that is her handwritting, and it looks as if it is, then I have got to give her props she's got some very neat handwritting.

This is actually a new book, not a magazine, by PEOPLE  and it is all about the American Idol guys.  BTW, Kat's interview graces the premier position, two pages on the book's inside cover!!    I saw this book at my Costco.
