Today's American Idol challenge finally had Kat as part of it. (And she's the answer too!) The question was who (Taylor, Kat or Elliott) sang with Meatloaf last year. And they mostly used video footage from what I thought she looked her absolute most stunning in the face, when she sang 'My Destiny'. Pretty cool to finally mention our Kat again this year!

Yeah, I noticed that. Wow! I didn't really notice how great her face looked when she originally performed MD, maybe because I wasn't thrilled with the dress and (initially) was disappointed with the song. She looked so good that I wondered if it was because Elliott and Taylor were next to her , but her beautiful face and expressive manner stand out on their own!

BTW - it didn't bother me that she hadn't been on yet - I wouldn't have wanted her to be one of the choices for the "Chicken Little" question...

I saw that tonight. Though I want to see the results and see if anybody actually voted thinking Elliott sang a duet with Meatloaf. That really would have been a night to remember had they duetted. Then again, maybe Taylor would have actually looked into Meatloaf's eyes during the duet without bursting out laughing.

Maybe someday they'll have contests like this where you have to think a little harder--though the odds of winning the money is still as wide as winning Powerball. Just like with anything else related to competing on 'AI'--it's all a risk and like betting your life away in Vegas.

After Ryan interviewed those people on the streets of L.A. tonight, sometimes I wonder how many people actually do know their 'AI' history. I'm sure most people remember the Kat/Meatloaf duet from the finale last year. Nevertheless, people do surprisingly forget. If only 'AI' showed the results of what the voting public do on their show, we'd probably have good answers to American sociological studies right there.

I agree those shots of Kat they used (in slow motion) were outstanding. Some people don't look flattering in slow-mo (especially singing)--but Kat looks good at any speed.

I was so excited when I saw that!! Katharine!! And that actually was the answer. Did any one enter? And to answer your question rozsheng they didn't even mention the American Idol hitlist. I guess we did all of that voting for nothing. Unless they'll announce it next week.
