Why are they bleeping out some of the names?  Not totally, totally confirmed yet?  Or maybe they were stringing out the drama as they had the performers come on throughout the day.  That was probably it.

Ah, these were the people Kat came on with back after she sang SIFFY!  I remember that interview.  And they said something about not forgetting them when she becomes big time.  They also said something about Kelly Clarkson being difficult to deal with these days (I have no idea if that's true) and for Katharine to never be like that.

Katharine's humbleness is almost too much sometimes.  She sounds like, "Nobody will come for me but maybe they'll like me when they see me.  They'll all be coming for Fergie!"

Distractingly beautiful.  That's a good one!  I still think it's interesting that she's "touring" with Fergie, Hilary Duff & Lily Allen.  At least kinda.  And Paula DeAnda, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Daughtry...in other places.  I guess certain acts get designated for these types of shows and they all make a certain number of them.

The bleeps were removed as each person was interviewed.  On Fergie's interview (she was first) all three of the other names are bleeped.  And Fergie says that the last bleeped name (which was Katharine, BTW) is really talented.  That is a nice thing for her to say.

Katharine and Fergie have a good rapport lately. They will be appearing together at some of the same concerts and obviously they respect each other. This is a good thing.

I heard the Fergie interview, and when the guy said he'd just talked to *bleep* and she was really excited about the concert, I just knew he was talking about Katharine.

Actually I'm still wondering which one of the girls on the tour Mandisa was talking about when she said all you had to do was dare her to do something and you could consider it done. Do you suppose.... ?

Whoaa i no this is really random, kinda like that joke whith the blonde brunette and the redhead all talking and "then the blonde says..." lol but is Haley using the exact same hair extensions or are they just like the ones kat was using??

They are the exact same chunks of human hair that were attached to Katharine's head last year.  But remember they were originally attached to the head of the person that grew it so don't get too grossed out about the "reuse" issue.  They clip in too so they are designed to be reused and the hair guru on Idol said that he even  washed them. Great story, actually and as soon as Haley showed up with them my brother said, " She has Katharine's hair!"  I said, "B.S." and I was wrong.

I think Haley would really like to be Katharine, or the equivalent, or something... but like the Mamas and Papas said, the original is still the greatest.

That's what we're told. But I still get nightmares of someone framing one of those on their wall and calling it the world's largest hairball.

Thanks for the link to that interview. Good to see Kat back on Jackie & Bender...because they've always been nice to her and feel like she's home--when the Seattle area actually is her once second home. From all indications, Kat didn't even know this concert would be on Mother's Day. And that shows that her management line these things up for her without her even knowing when they're scheduled. She's admitted to that herself by saying she lets the team do the detail work while she can just focus on what she needs to do that particular day.

I'd like to attend this being closer to home...but I doubt I'll make it. It's my birthday weekend too, which would make it a fun trip. It's just that I never travel to another city to attend a concert. If this was Kat performing all herself for two hours--then I'd reconsider. If this was in Portland, it wouldn't be a problem.  But she's likely going to perform only four or five songs...then it's ringing ear city with Hilary Duff's teenybopper fanbase and the rest. Of course, if this is done outside, the high-pitch screaming will probably travel into someone's backyard nearby. Ironic that the sound ordinance could be broken with audience screaming rather than the music itself.

I don't get the bleeps of the artists. You'd think you were listening to secret government tapes there. Though with the stellar aspect of that lineup--there's sure to be one of them to pull out at the last minute I guess. They should say "tentative", however, if there's any sign that'll happen. When big music stars pull out at the last minute...they get a lot of ticked fans who can't get refunds. At least we know Kat won't cancel, unless she gets truly sick.

for some unknown reason I read that as "do the dental work." I guess attending to details, like going to the gym, can be like pulling teeth.
