Kat spent 13 hours in that recording booth? All that was left was having dripping water in there or no food or water and you could legally call that a water torture chamber...

Thanks, Minnie, for the links to the interview. The sound is pretty muffled (and why did they put this on YouTube when there's just audio?)--but still some interesting Kat comments nonetheless. The fact that she stated they had a limited budget in getting the band set up was quite revelatory. Even with a smaller budget--they hired some worthy talent there. Her music director/keyboardist is pretty good...and I think he did the arrangement of 'Me.' Best yet, they all have great working chemistry now that they have performing experience together. And Kat mentions doing those radio promo tours...that actually benefit the radio stations just as much as the artist.

She also mentions the FAQ's she gets on a recurring basis. I bet she has a long list of those (well, we made some ourselves here once)--and it goes way beyond the Scientology question now. At least Kat's learned how to give interesting and varied answers in each interview to deflect the boring sameness of most press interviews.

Thanks Danette for #3 and #4.  Yeah, Kat's always great in her interviews. Just wish she would do one with KI0I in the Bay Area.
